Chapter 3

<For the sake of my baby and Llyod of my past life, I'll make your life a living hell.> Erica loosened her grip and gently pulled away from Llyod. He could finally hold his beloved wide in his arms for so long all these years, how can he let her go like that? "Honey, let go of me first, my Sister and Mother are still waiting for me," Erica softly said and pushed him, while blushing.

Being a twenty-year-old lade, her voice becomes sweet and extremely pleasant to the ear when she spoke in a gentle manner. Llyod took a deep breath and finally released her but kept an arm strongly wrapped her waist to show him that she is protected by him.

Erica looks at him but did not object. While her face looked thin and sickly, a faint smile lingered at the corner of her lips as she leaned closed to her husband and made her way downstairs. "Erica, are you okay?" Her mother asks, as she clearly looking at her and sensed that something was different about her but she cants pinpoint what it is.

"Why would I not be okay?" Erica act liked her innocent. Then, as she turned her eyes to Rachel, who could not hide her frustration, Erica's expression suddenly hardened. "Pak..." a sharp loud and stunned everyone into silence instantly.

Rachel had received a huge slap in her face, but before she could respond, her mother, who cared only Rachel, screamed involuntarily. "Why did you hit Rachel?" Erica was taken aback by her piercing scream, and tears immediately welled up in her eyes. "Mother, why are you screaming at me?"

"It was my older sister who lied to me and told me I will be okay if I take those pills. I nearly died because of her. Now, I just give her a slap, that's not too much,?" She explained, and seeing with anger.

In the outside world, Erica is a spoiled daughter of the Li family who was always arrogant and bossy around others. In fact, there are rumors that she bullied her older sister Rachel, and because of that everyone is trying to defend Rachel from Erica. Now that everyone thinks that she bullies Rachel, why not make it real.

"Brother Llyod, look at Erica. How could she hit me like that? I'm her older sister," Rachel said while holding her face that hit by Erica. Her teary eyes made her look pitiful, so much so that any man who saw her on that stage will probably be overwhelmed to protect her.

Who does she think is the guy in front of her? This guy is the sole heir of the Yang family the founder of the Stone Group, and the CEO of the Yang Group, and a boss of a gang. He was feared by both police and the underworld. Moreover, he was a man who loved his wife very much. Could he possibly be a sympathetic and compassionate person?

"Erica, come here! Give me your hand!" he said to his wife beside him without giving a look to Rachel. "Hmm?" Erica held out her hand in a puzzled manner.

"Your right hand."

"Oh!"

"Does it hurt?" Llyod looked at her hand and examined it, it becomes red. In his back, his followers were wearing overall and stern an expression lost their footing and became speechless. "No, it doesn't hurt. I didn't use much force. She's my older sister after all. I can't possibly bring myself to hit her very hard," Erica said innocently.

The people that listening to them stand up straight. When they hear what she said, they look at Rachel's red and swollen face and could not look at her eyes. Since when did their Madam become so shameless? Well, they don't care, they didn't see anything anyway.

"Erica, no matter what, I'm still your sister. How could you say such a thing? Back then, if you didn't beg me to help you to buy those sleeping pills, would I have gone and bought them for you. Now you're telling them it's my fault, you are my sister why would I do that to you? Rachel looked sad and sounded wrongly accused.

"But sister, you said once I take those pills, it will stop hurting me. So I bought them because I'm scared of pain. I always feel uncomfortable when I wake up, which is why I get angry," Erica said. It turned out that Rachel was the one that had to ploy everything. It made complete sense of Llyod since Erica doesn't have the strength enough to commit suicide.

Llyod looked at Rachel as he wished she was dead. "Get her out of here, get her out of my sight," he said to his people. "No, no Brother Llyod, please don't treat me like this. I beg you, don't take me away." Once Rachel heard Llyod's order, she becomes pale and starting to wailing.

"Son-in-law, let's talk about this first. Rachel is a naive girl. She must not know that Erica would actually commit suicide that time. After all, she is still Erica's older sister. Please, I beg you please have mercy on her." Her mother was terrified as she speaks with Llyod. She knew what would happen to her daughter if she was taken away. She set her status aside and pleaded desperately, almost falling to her knees in the process.

Naive? did she hear her mother right?

Erica looked at the two women crying and she doesn't care. Yes, in her past life, she was played for a fool because of Rachel's innocence and naivety. Noticing Erica's breaths, Llyod looked harden and his people tightened their hold on Rachel.

Erica looked at Llyod and noticed his stiffened posture. She took a look at him and saw how worried in his eyes. Soon she saw it, her heart warmed develop in her heart. Perhaps in this world, Llyod was the only one that loved her wholeheartedly.

Noticing the look of the wife for her husband, Rachel feel madder but she said nothing. She could only look at them and feel jealous in her heart. She promises herself that she will get everything that Erica has.

"Erica, quickly ask your husband to let your sister go. Are you really this cruel to send your sister to her death?" Mrs. Li said. Erica looked at her with surprise in her eyes. "Mother, how could you say that to me and accused me like that. My husband is only sending my sister out of the house, he never said he'd do anything to her. It's not as serious as the way you're putting it. Am I right, Honey?" Erica's words fell, she blinked flirty with Llyod.

Llyod feels his body go numb at her so he nodded without thinking. Erica turned to look at her Mother once more, her expression as if saying, "I told you." Her mother almost fainted in anger. Seeing that her mother had nothing else to say. Erica frowned and wined. "Honey, I'm hungry." As she spoke, she was holding her flat tummy.

"Butler Jo, get someone to prepare food," Llyod ordered the man behind him immediately. Noticing that their Master had no intention of letting Rachel go, Llyod people dragged the woman away. "Madam Li, stop" Madam Li wanted to continued pleading but she was stopped by the people and his sharp eyes. With no other way, she could only listen to her daughter's scream.

Llyod and Erica didn't stay long in the living room they when back to their room. When Llyod close the door his phone ring, she can only watch him as he talked to the phone. After the call his expression change. "What happened?" When Llyod is about to leave, Erica's heart jumped and she quickly grabbed his hand, and looked at him. "Some troublemakers are going wild again. I'm going out for a while, but I will be back soon," Llyod said. Erica sense what's going on. somebody spread the news about her committed suicide.
