Holding both Soul Burner and Chill Bane in his hands, the rampant power hidden within the two blades relentlessly struck at Grim's body. Without the protection of Soul Burner's [Kitsune] form and Chill Bane's [King of Winter] form, unrestrained ice covered his left hand freezing his veins and bringing about a level of chill that would make Lilith gasp. Soul Burner on the other hand had chard his right hand completely black and had it smoking.

Clenching the hilt of both swords tightly, not a single look of pain passed through Grim's glazed eyes. With his passive [All Devouring] trait kicking in and devoured the effects of the swords, the ice and flames vanished without a trace.

'That magic...' Lucifero grit his teeth staring hard at Grim. 'Its capable of devouring Conceptual level magic.'

Conceptual magic, only by completely understanding the nature of your magic can one's power reach the conceptual level.

For Grim who wielded [Demon Slaying Magic], the underworld was a great paradise that accelerated his growth. After being stuck down here for several months and doing nothing but killing every type of devil imaginable, his mastery and understanding over [Demon Slaying Magic] naturally evolved and reached the level of [Conceptual Magic].

With this level of mastery, using two union weapons without the need to transform was no longer an impossibility. Combined with his body of [All Devouring], he was able to wield the full power of the fused blades without having to compromise or regulate the power.

As he was right now, he had already surpassed the version of him that had used the [0th Form] in his fight against Lucifero in the living world.

'Damn it!'

Faced with a human that was capable of utilizing multiple conceptual magic abilities, a bead of sweat rolled down the side of Lucifero's face.

Gritting his teeth and holding his bleeding stub of an arm, there was only one thought in his head;

RUN!

If he was going to survive, he couldn't he had to-

[Nine Flames Annihilation: Freezing Sun]

Crossing both blades together in a X formation, a small but growing sun emerged in the centre of the area where the two swords intersected. Using the fused Nahamah and Lilith's [Freezing Sun] spell as a base and combining it with the spell that he had used to destroy that sun and his conceptual level magic. The birth of this sun threw the entire space into chaos as both the ground and sky began to quake and rumble at its manifestation.

'This...'

"STOP YOU FOOL!" Seeing that space itself was tearing itself apart and somehow managing to burn and freeze at the same time, Lucifero's expression fell as his voice was tinged with a hint of panic and worry.

If this continued, this layer; his domain would vanish from the underworld!

"IF YOU UNLEASH THIS MUCH POWER DOWN HERE, YOU'LL DESTROY YOURSELF AS WEL-

*GRINS*

'This guy...

It was at this moment that Lucifero, the ruler of Gravity and the King of all Devils realized a dangerous truth-

'This guy... He's crazy...'

He had made a mistake. Instead of standing his ground and facing this madman, the moment he sensed Grim's mana in the Underworld, he should have ran.

'I'm screwed.'

With the glow of the sun growing even brighter and gradually engulfing everything, the last words uttered by the king of devils was one he had heard recently.

"Fuck."

Thus ended the reign of the king of devils Lucifero. Killed by a semi conscious Demon Slayer on his home turf. He died with regret in his heart.

If not for Grim not being completely conscious, his entire body would have vanished and there would not be a trace left let alone a heart for Lucius to consume.

As for Grim.

The moment he unleashed his amped up version of [Freezing Sun], the space around him shattered and his body was sucked into the unknown. Not sensing any danger from it, Grim allowed it to take him.

"This... where the hell am I?"

After falling through the shattered space, it took a few more days for Grim's evolution to finally end and his body to stabilize. Once it did, his mind naturally returned from the mindscape.

"Ha...ha... What the hell happened while I was asleep?"

Standing on the edge of a cliff overlooking a vast and expansive plain. He saw strange looking creatures roaming the land. Wherever he was, he knew for sure that it wasn't the Spade Kingdom. No, it wasn't a part of any of the four kingdoms.

Like the Underworld, the mana and space here was different from that of the living world. In a way, it reminded him of Elysia, only bigger.

'Did I... travel to another world?'

Sensing a vague connection between this world, the living world and the underworld, he guessed that this world had a similar relationship that the living world had with the underworld.

'If I'm right, getting back to the living world shouldn't be to hard. But before that *grins* I should meet the locals.'

Strolling about and taking in the sights, Grim noted many differences between this world and the two he had been in before. Unlike the negative mana ridden atmosphere of the Underworld, this world was light and the mana was so pure that he felt right at home.

'This level of harmony... I didn't even feel like this back in the living world... Just where the hell am I?'

While travelling, Grim saw a great many things. Things that would floor the inhabitants of the living world.

'Are those... elemental spirits?'

Wizzing through the air and leaving neon green trails of light in their wake, small humanoid creatures with pointy ears and wings on their backs giggled and flew through the sky.

If Yuno saw this, he wondered how he would feel? Knowing that Bell wasn't that special.

'It seems the purity of mana in the living world is only enough to spawn one wind elemental spirit at a time.'

The more he explored this world, the more intrigued he became. But more than anything, he wanted to test his strength against this world's inhabitants. If the negative mana in the Underworld was capable of spawning a being like Lucifero and the Supreme devils, what would a world like this produce?
