Death and Encounter with the Demon Lord

"Die! Hahaha..."

Those were the last words Sheryl heard before she completely closed her eyes for good.

Being stabbed and pushed to the bottom of the abyss by the man's husband and mistress is what Sheryl is feeling.

Sheryl's body on her back fell freely into the abyss. Her body was covered in wounds and her sensitive areas were covered with disgusting mucus from the violence and rough bed games her husband sold—David Ferdinand and his damned partner and husband's best friend—Laura Grizelle.

When her body was falling towards the bottom of the abyss, Sheryl still had a little consciousness even though her eyes were reluctant to open. His heart hardened, his determination so strong that he could still hold on to his last seconds.

'Does my life really just end here? Whoever it is, if only I was given one more chance to live. I want to avenge all the pain I've endured even if I have to sacrifice this soul to the Demon Lord! Even if I die in the end, this grudge… I will keep it until the afterlife!'

That's what Sheryl said in her heart at the last second of her breath.

Not long after, Sheryl's body seemed to float in the middle of a vacuum and dark. Slowly his consciousness returned. His eyes were open, but there was nothing to see but darkness.

'Am I already in the afterlife? It's dark and I'm the only one here. This is the end of the expected. I was deceived by his own friends, into a woman who was sold to many bouncers. Why did I fall in love with a bad guy like him? What did I do wrong that he did something cruel to me? Didn't I take revenge on that damn couple?'

Sheryl's heart continued to wonder. Her body was floating between conscious and unconscious, until a bright red light shone on the retina of his eye and blocked his vision.

There was the sound of footsteps floating in the air. The glare that entered the retina of Sheryl's eyes slowly diminished. It can be seen that there is a tall, well-built man with fiery red clothes attached to his sturdy body. Not forgetting the stature of a handsome devil lord of the underworld as in the rumors with a fire symbol on his forehead.

"I have heard your request, poor woman." The deep, domineering male voice came from the handsome devil.

Sheryl's consciousness was rising. She was now standing floating in the void and could completely see the figure in front of him. "Who are you? How did I get here?" asked Sheryl probing.

"I am the Demon Lord summoned by the strong grudge that is in your heart. You want revenge, don't you?" The Devil made an offer with a grinning smile.

"Sure. I'll do anything as long as I can get my revenge on that damned couple!" Sheryl answered without a second thought.

"Good! I like ambitious women like you. I will grant your wish. But on one condition!"

"What's that?" Sheryl's gaze sharpened. She's a woman who doesn't think about anything but revenge. She's a dead woman right? So, why think about the conditions the Demon Lord put forward?!

"I will make you reborn in the body of a woman named Sienna Celestine Everleigh, a woman descended from a tycoon who died in an accident. The first requirement is to find the main culprit of the incident. Second, avenge you within the allotted time. Remember! The most important thing here, you must not fall in love with any man at your birth!"

"Why?"

"Because your body and soul are mine completely!"

"Then, if I violate one of them?"

"I will crush your soul into pieces and make it the food of the underworld demon fire!"
