BACK TO THE OVERWORLD

"How long has it been?" Asha asked, his gaze still fixed on Leach as they stood beneath the dark sky.

"48 days," Leach replied, his answer prompting a look of surprise from Asha.

"It's been that long?" Asha spoke with a hint of disbelief. He had died a total of 28 times, condemning him to spend 28 days in hell. However, his journey had taken longer. In the underworld, 48 days equated to a mere 24 hours on earth. This disparity was to be expected, given that the underworld was the most populated realm in existence, housing a vast array of beasts and deceased lifeforms. From animals to aliens, any being with a soul would find itself in the afterlife. Time, therefore, had to pass differently in the underworld, for the sheer volume of deaths occurring daily across the earth and universe demanded it.

Asha stood up, his gaze drifting over his physique. His body had transformed into a formidable instrument, each muscle honed for combat. The intense battles with Leach had granted him immense experience, and his body reflected this. Even though Leach had held back, Asha's 48-day ordeal of hand-to-sword combat had sculpted his body into a powerful weapon.

Asha smiled, confident that his current form surpassed his original body in the novel. He glanced at Leach, who remained impassive, and quipped, "It's pretty big, huh?" A sly grin spread across his face as he added, "Last time I checked, it was 10 inches. Crazy!" Leach's expression remained unreadable, prompting Asha to laugh maniacally. "I'm kidding, ha ha! It's 11!"

Asha's laughter ceased abruptly, and he raised his right hand. "Open," he commanded, and a door crafted from black stones materialized, causing a small earthquake. The ground trembled as the door ripped free from the earth, opening with a ominous creak.

Leach's voice remained detached as he asked, "You are leaving?" Asha smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Yeah, but I'll be back." With that, he stepped through the doorway, which shut behind him, leaving Leach alone amidst the hellish landscape.

Leach's expression shifted, his shining white teeth visible as he cracked a smile. His face remained obscured, but his voice carried a hint of amusement. "Godspeed, Master. Godspeed." With an unhurried movement, Leach floated backward, disappearing into the shadows as if nothing had transpired.

As the strange Blackstone door closed behind him, a young man emerged, his striking black features and piercing eyes commanding attention. His naked body exuded an aura of power and darkness, as if death itself had taken human form. Yet, the young man, oblivious to this aura, seemed carefree.

Asha, exhausted from his ordeal, stumbled into the bathroom to take a shower. As he breathed in the oxygen, he felt his body undergo a transformation. The 48-day absence of oxygen had taken its toll. Under the warm water, Asha noticed his dark tattoos growing even darker, eliciting a faint, enigmatic smile.

Stepping out of the shower, Asha didn't bother with a towel, proudly displaying his chiseled physique. His body had undergone a radical transformation, with muscles rippling beneath his skin, even in the most unexpected areas. The definition in his stomach was particularly striking, with dozens of packs visible beneath the surface.

Asha picked up his phone from the bed, only to realize he had no contacts. This didn't surprise him, given his character's background in the novel. As the son of the God with the largest domain, Asha had always kept people at arm's length. Now, he couldn't help but lament his lack of connections. "What kind of handsome main character doesn't have a harem?" he complained, staring at his empty contact list.

This sudden realization brought back memories of his past life. Asha had spent most of his time studying, hoping to attend university, but this had come at the cost of forming meaningful relationships. His life had been marked by solitude, ultimately leading to a desperate act that had ended his life. But in this new existence, Asha had discovered he was seemingly indestructible.

Asha's thoughts were interrupted by the realization that his clothes no longer fit. The 48-day journey in the underworld had taken a toll on his body, while only a day had passed on earth. "I guess it's time to go shopping," he said, a sly smile spreading across his face.
