Taking over the Chantry and scaring the Qunari

"Viscount... I do hope you are doing well..." Mordred is currently dressed in her favorite suit and pulls the cuff of her black glove menacingly. {Img}

"...This is about the Chantry isn't it?" Marlowe Dumar sighs and starts to crave a strong drink.

"I had to kill Merideth... and many other templars who have strayed from their teachings... So yes... I want to know how this was not brought to the attention of the five Knight-Vigilants... More importantly, why did you not tell The Divine how corrupt the Chantry here was!? She should have been the first to know!" Mordred punches the old viscount across his jaw.

"Arh... I will be feeling that for weeks to come... The reason I didn't let them know was because... I didn't want to die! Merideth is Mad! Completely crazy and unable to be reasoned with! Why didn't the Maker himself let you know what was going on!?" The Viscount snarls completely unlike his video game self... After all, this is reality.

"I do not have the privilege of such a blessing... My Mother Artoria Pendragon and my older Brother are the only ones who hear the Maker's voice... I have not earned it yet..." Mordred recalls the first time she met the Maker... He was the one that let her reincarnate on Thedas as his personal killer much like the Emperor's Wrath from SWTOR... Finding out that the Maker is in fact God's Avatar from the Bible was certainly a doozy.

"... What will you do with the Chantry now?" the viscount sighs.

"I will sort things out... I will purge whatever remains of the corruption! I will send a letter to my Mother not as a family member but from a Knight-Commander to a Knight-Vigilant and she will in turn send a letter to her grace The Divine... Just stay out of the way! And next time something like this happens I expect you to send a letter to a higher authority instead of being a coward!" Mordred walks out of the keep.

'I have always been a devout Christian long before I became a soldier back on earth... So I have no issue being a Templar knowing I serve the Lord as his divine wrath! Which is why I will never tolerate the defilement of the Chantry! the corruption must be purged before it spreads too far! O'Lord please forgive me for the sins I have committed on this day!' Mordred kneels at the Altar.

(A.N: Just to let you know Mordred isn't an insane zealot she is just faithful and takes her duties on Thedas seriously... God himself named her his Divine Wrath in charge of purging the corruption in the house of God known as the Chantry and purging anyone who commits grave sins repeatedly... So just think of her as a Controlled Spirit of Vengeance in the service of God instead of a devil such as Mephisto from Marvel)

"Knight-Commander Sir Mordred you have paperwork to attend to..." One of the revered sisters makes her presence known.

'Ugh... I hate paperwork...' Mordred gets up from her knee.

'She is so tall!' Revered Sister Talia Lionheart feels like cowering under a blanket when she sees Mordred stand at 6'3 towering over her. All Pendragons are very tall even Mordred's mother Artoria Pendragon stands at 6'5 towering over most men. Lord Lancelot stands at 7'4 towering over the women in the Pendragon family.

"I will get to that after I visit the Qunari... It should only take a couple of hours... Prepare me some coffee fifteen minutes before the clock hits 8:00 I will need it if I am to do paperwork at night after my important meeting with the so-called Qun..." Mordred walks out of the chantry.

"Pendragon... The Arishok will see you..." The gate guard leads the way.

"Pendragon why have you come to our compound?" the Arishok as always gets right to the point.

"To think the Arishok would be here... No matter... I have come to ascertain your intentions..." Mordred narrows her eyes at the Arishok making the giant's lips twitch.

The Pendragon Family are the only Bas that the Qunari respect... But it is respect born of fear... The Pendragon family are absolute juggernauts on the battlefield and have caused devastating losses to the Qun and have even brought the fight straight into Par Vollen where they did devastating damage to their food production capabilities 25 years ago when they tried to do a Land Grab on Ferelden.

Many things are different from Lore thanks to the existence of the Pendragon family and when Mordred was born the Pendragons fought even more fiercely as if wanting the war to be over so they could go see the newest member of their family which ended the war with the Qunari rather quickly.

After they devastated the farmlands of the Qunari the Pendragons raced back to Britania which is a part of Thedas to the gamers it was known as the free Marches but now it is called Britania where the Pendragons Reside.

The Free Marches now known as Britania much to Mordred's chagrin on butchering the lore of Thedas is an impenetrable fortress that protects Ferelden from Nevarra, Tevinter, Antiva, and Par Vollen and never once have they failed to push back all of these forces.

"We are stranded here! We lost an item of great importance and we will not leave until it is returned!" The Arishok's booming voice is heard by passersby.

"Unfortunate... So long as you do not draw blood from anyone in this city neither will I draw blood from you Qunari... However... If you harm any person in this city... I will kill you and your men... Alone myself... You know I am capable of that much" Mordred turns her back on the Arishok walking out of the compound.

The Arishok's men couldn't help but let out a breath that they were holding...

"That was one of the Pendragons? how did such Bas come to be?" One of the Karasten shakily breathes in and out.

The Arishok sighs at the sight of his soldiers cowering in fear of a single Bas.

'Yet it is not without reason... Bas Mordred killed hundreds of the Qun when we tried to take the lands known as Rivain and Antiva five years ago... She has become even more skilled since we last did battle... Who would win in a fight to the death is now uncertain...' The Arishok grimaced when he remembers how that young woman in full heavy armor and an enchanted sword bathed in blood-red lightning cut down five men in a single blow.

The Arishok was forced to sit down and negotiate with Sir Mordred after many fierce duels with the young woman... Never in his life did he believe a single Bas could match him without the use of magic... But if there is a single faction among these Bas that he respects it would be the Pendragon Family.
