CHAPTER 7: HOKAGE ROCK

[NEXT Morning]

[Naruhito's POV]

Naruhito: "Haah...* yawn* I slept like a rock!"

After that, he got ready and left his inn taking all his belongings. Walking along the streets leaving the Senju estate Naruhito asked around a bit about the direction of the Uchiha estate and headed to a small town near the Uchiha estate.

He travelled towards the town in a small cart that is commonly used for transportation. Arriving at the town cart dropped him and went on its way after taking the fair.

Naruhito: "It's already evening....the transportation sure is slow for ordinary humans."

After that Naruhito decides to book an inn and scout the Uchiha compound at night the same as he did of the Senju.

[AT NIGHT ]

[ALEX'S POV]

Alex: 'Infiltrating the clan compound was easy enough but now I have to go around checking every house carefully so as not to be seen. I have to be extra careful as Sharingan can see the chakra.'

Thought Alex, as he observed the Uchiha clan members having their dinner. The atmosphere was a bit more serious and colder than the Senju compound. But guess it was just the characteristics of the Uchiha clan.

Reaching the patriarch's house Alex discreetly observed all the people present in the household.

Looking around he saw young Madra training in the clan compound after dinner and little Izuna and another boy were watching him.

Alex: "Well I guess he is Madra's brother too. so 2 more brothers are yet to be born."

'Let's go see their mother, if she is pregnant or not. If she is not pregnant then I'll just have to come back later I guess '

Fortunately for Alex, as he entered the Matriarch room he saw that she was already pregnant.

Alex: "Good! She is pregnant now which saves me a lot of trouble."

Said Alex as he waited for everyone to sleep.

[AT MIDNIGHT ]

Alex: 'ok let's get the ball rolling '

Alex slowly went underground near the Uchiha matriarch and released a little bit of his spores and started the process of association. As he had already gained prior experience the process went much smoother and was finished rather quickly.

Alex: ' Hmm....the assimilation is complete and I can feel the connection with the foetus. Even though the foetus was somewhat developed the process went smoothly but I don't think this one will get wood release....well that's not a problem '

Putting these thoughts at the back of his head Alex came back out of the Uchiha compound and headed back to his inn.

[NEXT DAY]

(NARUHITO'S POV)

Naruhito woke up to the morning sun's rays and the bird chirped at his window.

After waking up he washed his face and started preparing for the day. After taking a bath, he wore some clothes and went outside.

'Ok... let's head out and eat something.' Saying this he packed a small pouch full of money and hid his bags extending the checked-out time of his room by a day.

After wandering around in the town and eating different kinds of food. He came up to a blacksmith shop. Remembering that I had a rusty sword. Naruhito went to the black Smith and asked.

Naruhito: "Hello sir, Can You take a look at my sword. it has gotten a bit rusty and the edges have also dulled a bit. Can you fix this blade".

Blacksmith: "Hmm... let me see the blade."

After carefully examining the blade the man said.

"yes, it can be fixed Come back tomorrow morning and take it. Since it will only require some sharpening and polishing work, it won't cost you much only 2000 ryu."

Naru(I'll just shorten it): "ok, I will see you tomorrow morning."

After completing his business with the blacksmith. He roamed around a bit more and decided to go and see the future Hokage mountain.

After coming to the cliff and looking at the vast forest Naru decided to lay down and relax under the shade of a tree and think about what he should do next.

The sun had not fully reached its peak, a cold Breeze was blowing and the birds chirped along with the swaying trees.

Alex was lying with closed eyes in the shade of a tree near the Hokage rock contemplating what he had done till now and what he would do from here on out.

[Naruhito's POV]

Naru:'hmm....such a peaceful place if only it could be guaranteed then I won't have to do any of this Hassel....'

*sigh*

'Anyways, what is the next plan of action...I have already planted my clones in these 2 clans. Now the next thing is to wait for a couple of years for the fruits of my labour. after all, I am playing the long game here...'

'But wasting time is not something that I have ever liked. so let's move to the next agenda, that is to make a secret base for myself....'.

"Though where should I get started???"

After brainstorming some ideas Alex came up with some solutions for his problem.

'ok, so I think I can pull an Orochimaru and take over a nation and establish a ninja village later on, but it has to be discreet or else if I directly attack the daimyo then other daimyos might commission other clans to try to kill me and set an example. It will gather too much attention that I don't want.

Firstly, it can't be too big of a nation because management would be a hassle in these times.

so major elemental countries are out.

secondly, it can't be at the centre of the ninja world to become a battlefield for other Nations. so all small nations around the major ninja villages like grass, waterfall, river, rain, rice and hot springs are out.

But that leaves me with not a lot of options. Does it? hmm...so my options are the land of tea and the land of snow... there is also the land of whirlpool but let's just not even think about it. hmm... Land of Tea is a good choice but it is a little bit cut off from the centre of the ninja world and doesn't have natural barriers from external threats whereas The Land of Snow although bigger has the northern half of its land frozen throughout the year and the southern half for half the year, but they have the weather changing device that works on senjutsu. plus they have a natural barrier on top of a robust aquatic and fishery economy.'

"Guess the land of snow it is and it would be easier to take it over as the daimyo too"

'As for the matter of manpower, I will just have to import some people to form a strong ninja village when the time comes '

"hmm...The Yuki clan might be the best, then there is the Chinoike clan and Jugo's clan as well"

Getting up from his seat Alex saw it was already evening and the sun was going down. he had been brainstorming ideas his whole day.

"Alright, then it's settled. I will make the land of snow my base of operations from now on"

'But before taking over the land of snow I have to make some preparations.'

"Let's gather some genetic material"

After saying that Naruhito used the mayfly technique and went to the grave sight of the Uchiha clan assimilated all the non-decomposed bodies and replaced them with some decomposed biomass to not arouse any suspicion.

After grave robbing the Uchiha clan clan Naruhito went back to his inn and started to assimilate the genetic makeup of the absorbed Uchiha.

[NEXT DAY]

waking up Naruhito had nothing much to do except getting his sword back. After having some breakfast, he went to black Smith to get my sword back.

To his surprise, the blacksmith even polished the handle and sheath of the blade making it look all black.

Paying the black Smith for his work Naruhito headed to the Hokage mountain and started practicing his sword skills.

After assimilating for two days he managed to get the sharingan as well as the yin release chakra nature.

Now he could easily overcome any gennin and could match low to mid chunin without even knowing any ninjutsu.

Alex:'voo... it's finally 3 Tomoe at first when it started with 1 Tomoe I thought I would have to upgrade it myself but gradually after assimilating more, it turned into a 2 Tomoe and in the end 3 Tomoe. It is good that I can use all three of them separately if needed to conserve chakra...'

Naru: "But this won't do. I don't have any ninjutsu and I have to absorb some chakra to mimic the ninjutsu and other techniques. this process is very ineffective. I guess...I have to pay a visit to the Yamanaka clan sooner than I thought."

'but let's get some chakra and copy some ninjutsu with the Sharingan for the time being just in case of any emergency'

Having said that Alex made his way to the uchiha clan compound looking for prey to absorb chakra from and assimilate.
