Chapter 23

It's been a few days since King Gazel visited our village. A few days later, he returned and dropped off a rucksack containing a human, saying it was a gift to us.

Long story short, that person's name is Vesta. He's responsible for sending Aniki to prison and exiling Kaijin from Dwargon. Anyway, since he's here, and some kind of scientist, I have some work for him. I sent him to the Veldora cave to research full potions so we can do some business with Dwargon, basically trading low- and high-level potions.

There's also the matter of the Dragonewts. I'm thinking of creating a new squad, an Air Force. But let's think about that later; it's a plan for another time. There are more important things to focus on right now, like the construction of two capitals.

The construction is going pretty smoothly. I even employed Taurens to help. The houses in the city of Rimuru will have Japanese architecture, while those in the city of Emeric will have Indo-Greek architecture.

A few days later, most of the houses are finished. Now what's left is the construction of the Academy, the Administration Building, and the Barracks.

As this construction is going on, I felt a strong presence. That person has insane magicules, I can feel it. I started moving towards the location. As I reached it, something like a meteor fell from the sky. When it hit the land, it created a huge tornado, and from that tornado, a small girl stepped out. However, the aura emitted from her is on par with Veldora's.

I used [ God's Eye ] on her and copied the Ultimate Skill [ Wrathful King Satanel ]. I thought it quite useful. Well, the skill basically turns my rage into magicules. Magicules will not be depleted as long as I have rage. It also copied its sub-skills, further evolving my skill [Magicule Breeder Generator] to [ Magicule Breeder Reactor ].

'She is the demon lord, huh?' I said to Aniki via [Family Link].

'I guess she is,' Aniki replied. 'So how will we deal with her? I don't think she just wants to fight with us,' Aniki added.

'Well, she doesn't have ill intentions towards our village, and since she is a kid, you deal with her,' I said.

'So you're going to dump this on me?' Aniki asked.

'Of course...' I replied while smirking.

'What!!!-' While Aniki was shouting, I cut the [Family Link].

"Greetings!" the girl spoke while coming out of the tornado. "I am the one and only Dragonoid, also known as the destroyer, Milim Nava!!"

"I heard you both are the strongest in this town, so I came to introduce myself," She spoke while flaring her demon lord aura.

"So you came just to introduce yourself?" I replied, countering back to her with my own aura.

Out of nowhere, Benimaru, Kuroshi, Vayu, Hanzo, and Shion came running towards us, and Ranga also came out of Aniki's shadow.

Benimaru spoke, "Rimuru-sama, Emeric-sama, please flee from here! We will stop her." In the meantime, Shion, Hanzo, and Kuroshi started attacking Milim.

Meanwhile, the attacks of Shion, Hanzo, and Kuroshi weren't even damaging Milim. Milim left her cheerful attitude and spoke, "So, you want to play?"

"Benimaru, do you understand what you have just said? Are you suggesting we should flee from here? However, we will skip this matter for now."

As I spoke those words, in a blur, I vanished and reappeared before Milim, catching her punch before she even attacked them.

Milim's eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't expected anyone in this village to be able to catch her punch so effortlessly. The cheerful facade vanished, replaced by a predatory grin. "Oh? So you're not just all talk, huh?"

My lips curved into a mirroring smile, my grip on Milim's fist tightening slightly. "Just a little warm-up," I said casually. "But if you're looking for a real fight, I'm happy to oblige."

I activated Unique skill [Full Counter], the impact of Milim's punch reverberating through my body. With a twist of my wrist, I redirected the force, sending Milim stumbling back a few steps. A flicker of surprise crossed her face; she hadn't expected such resistance.

Rimuru and the others watched in awe. Emeric's movements were a blur to them.

Milim roared in excitement, her dragonoid blood boiling. "Finally, a worthy opponent!" She lunged forward, her attacks a whirlwind of raw power.

I met each blow with Unique Skill [ Full Counter ], deflecting and redirecting, my own attacks growing in intensity with each exchange. I activated [Magicule Breeder Reactor], my rage fueling my magicules to unprecedented levels.

With [ God's Eye ], I dissected Milim's fighting style, predicting her moves before she even made them. I used [Warlord: Strategist] to anticipate her next attack, countering it with a calculated strike that sent her flying.

Milim crashed into a nearby hill, the impact creating a crater. She emerged, dust settling around her, her grin widening. "Not bad! You're the first one to push me this far in a long time!"

I landed gracefully, my body shimmering with magicules. "Likewise," I said, my voice echoing with power. "But don't think this is over yet."

I vanished, reappearing behind Milim in a flash. With Unique Skill [ All Creator ], I created a new skill, Extra Skill [Dragon Slayer], its power crackling around my fist.

Milim barely had time to react as my punch connected, sending shockwaves through the air. The force of the blow sent her hurtling through the sky, a streak of crimson against the clouds.

The others watched, their hearts pounding. Was this the end? Had Emeric actually defeated the Demon Lord Milim?

Why Emeric is not using Unique Skill [Sapient]?

well I to be honest I consider Sapient as an background process, and normally Emeric has very high IQ and if he is pinch he would use Sapient, and even in the battle with Milim, he is not in auto-battle mode, so that's why Sapient is not in active. I hope it clarifies.

Why is Emeric is on par with Milim considering she is an ancient demon lord?

well, he is the MC, *ahem* that is because of the number of Unique Skills he have and You can think of his Magicules is on par with Milim because of the skill [Magicules Breeder Generator]. I hope it clarifies.

why does Emeric can contain numerous Unique Skill and can copy Ultimate Skills.
