Time Passes Part 7: First Steps Between the Four Gods

(Tzeentch/Change God POV)

Location the Warp-the Realm of the Sorceror, the Impossible Fortress, the Crystal Study of the Architech

I grunt and hiss in pain...

As I was bound to flesh tendrils, that circulated the power of my realm into my broken body...damn, my brothers for doing this to me!!!

Not able to replicate the same restorative affect of Olympus' mana-veins but at least it ease my pain, as my Lords of Change channeled some of their magic to hasten my recuperation.

I've even divided half my legions, to attack and harvest souls for me in the Materium while the rest remain in my domain, protecting it and myself for any possible attack from my enemies.

I must regain my full strength to get, my revenge for this humiliation and defeat at the hands of my rivals.

My anger was soo intense, spark of psyker lightning burst out my mind and burst fort into reality, zapping my Study and ruining some of my books...ohh, and some Greater Daemon that got struck by six of my psychic bolts...I calm myself, less I ruin my private collection and have to waste time, restoring all the destroyed book, tomes, scrolls, and records scattered all around...

That's when I sensed someone...calling me?

I focused on the mental message, and realized that...my brothers...were calling me!?

I thought, "It this a trap?" but I know...regretfully...how they are, I would make a trap for them, but they wouldn't do that.

Laharl the lustful, would destroy me in all form with massive amounts of power, to break me, Khorne the brute, would strike me, in a open battlefield and fight "fairly", and Nurgle...grumbling as I thought his name...he would overwhelm me with numbers, and cause carrion over everything.

Groaning as this was difficult...I decided to look through the future, involving myself in the next moment...and saw, a lot destruction, a lot complexity, and a lot of change and schemes in my name...laughing, mischievously seems that whatever outcome come from this summons, so I'll answer this call...

(General POV)

Location the Neutral Space-The Infinity Fountain Resting Place

Laharl, Khorne, and Nurgle waited for Tzeentch to arrive and answer their call they've made in hopes of starting to "bond" with their new, younger brother...they felt his presence eventually emanate in the Neutral Space...

As Tzeentch finally joined the trio, manifesting in the white void, that is the Neutral Space.

He appeared as is eldritch shadow flowing with deep blue energy, as his multi-limbed and tentacles form his silhouette.

The older Chaos Gods, could sense Tzeentch's mistrust and also curiosity...most likely inspecting everything he is looking at in the Neutral Space.

They all had different reactions to the Architech's actions, with Nurgle while it was his idea to invite Tzeentch...he honestly found their younger brother's guard and clear animosity annoying...Khorne, quite honestly wasn't annoyed by Tzeentch's presence or directed anger, he just wanted to get this over with and return to his Blood Lands, lastly Laharl, knowing what Tzeentch is capable of effing with...EVERYTHING...he was cautious, he will not give Tzeentch everything but just enough to get even a nibble of his trust...or better said consideration...no slight belief he can benefit and use them, yeah that sounded more like the Master of Manipulation.

The Dark One began telling Tzeentch about the function of the Fountain to look into other worlds that have been touch by Chaos, and let them see the life history and events of a target/targets, in this case the three daemons and exalted champion that their offering him.

Then he mentioned, that Void Gate will serve as a gateway that will pull/summon the essence of the targets that they desire, for them to assimilate and they can later summon into existence in their world/realm.

Tzeentch was impressed...and greedy, which all of them could sense from him, and they said at the sametime, "DON'T GET ANY IDEAS, ONLY BY OUR CALL CAN YOU COME HERE!!! LET ALONE USE THE FOUNTAIN & GATE!!!!" which made Tzeentch's shadow construct, started to shake and they heard him grumble under his breathe.

This made Nurgle chuckle, and Tzeentch yelled, "Shut up, lard corpse!!!" Nurgle, just laughed harder and thanked Tzeentch for his "compliment"...only, the Decaying God would find that a compliment.

Clearing his throat, Laharl began to tell him about the best choices for him to summon as his newest servents, this made Tzeentch hmm and say, "Really? Then, tell me Dark One. How is worthy of my notice?"

Laharl started to tell him about the four, candidates for the Legions of Change, starting with the most famous tzeentchian character...Kairos Fateweaver.

Kairos Fateweaver, known also as the "Oracle of Tzeentch," the "Keeper of the Destiny Scrolls," and even the "Mocking Watcher," is a two-headed Lord of Change, as well as the most favored and quite possibly the strongest amongst the Lords of Change under Tzeentch and is blessed with access to all of his knowledge concerning the nature of fate and destiny, for one head see the past and the other sees the future, but they are now blind to the present, making it their mortal weakness in battle.

Kairos may have gained infallible knowledge of scrying, but as with all the gifts of Chaos, however, there is always a catch, in Oracle of Tzeentch case one of two heads will always answer with the truth, but unfortunately, the other head simultaneously responds with a contradictory answer, the falsehood being as believable as the truth, making it nearly impossible to distinguish between, so to record everything that they may prophecize, Tzeentch order nine other Lords of Change to always write down what they say at all times, when their not on the field of battle.

The Daemon Sorceror knows every spell in existence, and every action before it's conceived thanks to the action of his Dark Master.

Ever since he clawed his way back from the Well of Eternity, that Tzeentch drop him and several other Greater Daemons in the Well, Kairos was the only one that survived and re-emerge from the well with two heads forevermore.

After years uncounted within its depths of the Well of Eternity, Kairos can see things that are hidden even to Tzeentch, hence making him inexpendable and most favored by the Lord of Lies.

Vilitch the Curseling, or also called by many in the Old World as Twisted Twin, they are a powerful mutant Sorcerer Lord of Tzeentch, the Chaos God of change and intrigue.

Vilitch was permanently fused to his more muscular warrior brother, Thomin, by the will of the Changer of Ways.

Their origins are, they were once apart of the tribes of the Northmen, as they were born as a pair of twins; one healthy, strong name Thomin and handsome to look upon, and one wretched, weak, and tiny runt Vilitch.

Though the tribe's leaders expected the wholesome son to become a great warrior, it was the runt Vilitch who was to change their fate forever, the twins had a difficult birth, and their mother died soon afterwards, for it took all her strength to nourish the greedy infants.

As they grew up, Thomin the thriving twin, was excelled in the hunt, and soon rose to lead the tribe's youngest warriors, whilst the weakling Vilitch, on the other hand, was universally despised for his ugliness and frailty, he was forced to perform his dead mother's chores and, humiliatingly, was denied the use of a sword, Thomin used to beat Vilitch for the slightest infraction and opportunity that may present him, and despite the runt's pleas, his father would not intervene.

As they grew up, Thomin became well muscled, athletic, skilled with weapons which meant he quickly learned the ways of the warrior.

While Vilitch barely managed to scrape by as an apprentice to the tribe's shaman, where he learnt a few meagre cantrips and a little knowledge about the Ruinous Powers that dwelt beyond the veil, which brought hope to the young shaman-in-training as he pleaded to one of the Gods for aid.

Every night, the runtling prayed fervently to Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways, to reverse their fates, to make him the strong one and his brother the slave, the Great Sorcerer, who delights in anarchy, eventually agreed to Vilitch's selfish request...one Geheimnisnacht, when the Chaos Moon Morrslieb passed its closest to the Known World, Vilitch awoke to find that his body and that of his sibling Thomin had melded together.

His brother's intellect had been added to his own, and there was nothing left of Thomin's mind save for a drooling automaton enthralled to Vilitch's command, now with the strength of a mighty warrior in his control, and greater power over magic the Curseling was born that night, and Vilitch exact his revenge on the tribe as well.

Laughing maniacally at his newfound powers, Vilitch embarked upon a bloody killing spree, sending crackling arcs of pure change into those who had looked down upon him in the past and forcing the body of Thomin to throttle any who tried to stop him. By the time the sun set, the village had been consumed by sorcerous fire and the streets ran with molten flesh.

With the gracious gift from Tzeentch, the diabolical strength of Thomin was increased and Vilitch's magical power enhanced hundredfold none stood in their way, as they caused ruin and chaos in the name of Tzeentch, terrorizing the Old World for countless years...armed with magical sword and flail used by the "mindless" Thomin, while Vilitch is armed with a gold and azure Staff of Change, devastating foes as a hybrid warrior and spellcaster of Tzeentch.

The Changeling, a Herald of Tzeentch who personifies the part of the Changer of Ways' psyche that is the meddler, the trickster, and the deceiver.

The Changeling is the ultimate trickster, who can take the form of other beings, from the tiniest of insects to the most massive of Greater Daemons.

None, save perhaps Tzeentch himself, know the Changeling's true form, for he goes cowled and cloaked when in his own shape, perhaps even the Changeling himself has forgotten it, known to manifest as a four armed with three of those arm at one side, he is a hooded but faceless entity.

Though Tzeentch loves to take credit for the Changeling's schemes, only a handful of the daemon's adventures are carried out at his divine patron's directions, the Scheming God is content to let the Changeling roam wild through eternity, causing havoc where he may, finding his schemes aka pranks very amusing to him.

Each meddling opens up more possibilities in the Great Game, and Tzeentch watches with amusement as the Changeling weaves his uneven tapestry of disruption.

So many of his "pranks" have caused terrible wars is of no concern to the Changeling, from mortal sides to even the Gods themselves, apart from Tzeentch none are spared from the Changeling's games, it said that Tzeentch is the only being he respects/fears most of all.

He loves the discord of conflict, for it breeds opportunity to deceive and dismay like nothing else. His enjoyment begins even before armies clash: impersonating messengers and generals to disrupt strategy wherever possible, when battle begins, the Changeling is wont to adopt the shape and skill of the most powerful foe, pounding the enemy to pieces with malicious enthusiasm and borrowed muscle, all for his "Plays" & "Mayor Theathers" cause the art of total chaos, is the Changeling's main goal, and on the rare occasion he is not admist the battlefield, he is close by to enjoy the aftermath of his work, with glee.

Decarabia the Vicious Pentagram, a daemon from Goetia Demons in mythology, but also a common daemon in the Persona/Shin Megumi Tensei Games.

In Mythology, Decarabia, also known as Carabia, is the sixty-ninth demonic spirit listed in the Ars Goetia, according to the writings in the Lesser Key of Solomon.

Although he has no title in the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, he does in the Lesser Key of Solomon where he is a Great Marquis of Hell and has thirty legions of demons under his command.

When summoned, Decarabia appears as a pentagram star, although he will take the form of a man if the conjurer requests it. He knows the properties and values of all herbs and precious stones, and can transform into any type of bird to sing and fly for his conjurer, sometimes acting as his animal familiar.

While the Decarabia, resemble more a eldritch starfish, while in dependence of the game installment his magic aligments changes slightly he commonly has access to fire/agi magic, lightning/zio magic, eiha/curse magic, megido/almighty magic, and lastly debuffing & status effecting spells as well.

That couple with tzeentchian magic/psychic energy, they make perfect daemons for Tzeentch, and even fit all of Tzeentch motif to a T, flying and strong magic casters with knowledge making them more dangerous than horrors, but still not at the same level of high & greater daemons.

Tzeentch was shocked and very impressed...shocked cause these being except the Decarabia daemons, were already belong to another version of his also his shock cause his siblings would give him such beings to him, and impressed cause he'll admit his oldest sibling, Laharl, really did offer the best candidates for him...

One of those reasons, the Dark One choose the first three, cause their tzeentchian characters from fantasy, meaning that 40k Tzeentch who's a low-mid tier Chaos God, his dominance is easier to claim Kairos, Changeling, and Vilitch like the times with Khorne with Valkia, Scyla, and Karanak, and Nurgle with Ku'gath, Epidemius, and Festus...while the starfish like Goetia daemon, well Tzeentch he'll probably manipulate, the decarabia into serving and forever being apart of his very being...

Then Tzeentch asked, "Since, I have my chosen targets what do I need to do next?" Laharl knew that regardless of Tzeentch's attitude, at least it was the first step forward of "bonding" as allies/brothers.
