The battle with Malakar was fierce and unrelenting. The dark sorcerer wielded Vortan's magic with deadly precision, casting spells that sapped their strength and summoned dark minions to fight at his side.

Hiroshi and Elara fought with all their might, supported by their allies. The power of the artifacts gave them an edge, but Malakar's dark energy was overwhelming.

As the battle raged on, Malakar retreated to a central altar, where a swirling vortex of dark energy pulsed with raw power. "The ritual is almost complete," he taunted. "Soon, Vortan will be reborn."

Hiroshi realized they had to disrupt the ritual before it was too late. He signaled to Elara, and together, they launched a coordinated attack on the altar. The artifacts glowed with intense light, their power clashing with the dark energy.

Malakar screamed in fury as the light began to overwhelm the darkness. "No! This cannot be!"

With a final surge of power, Hiroshi struck the altar with the Tempest Blade, shattering it and releasing a blinding burst of light. The dark energy dissipated, and the vortex collapsed, taking Malakar with it.

The fortress trembled as the dark magic unraveled. Hiroshi and Elara rushed to escape, guiding their allies through the crumbling structure. They emerged into the daylight, the oppressive energy lifting as the fortress fell into ruins.
