Chapter 120 : Nighttime Conversations.

" What were you thinking? Are you looking for trouble "? Nectar whimpered as she was pulled forward by the nose, " I can't breath, let go ". Liam sighed and let her nose go and watched her rub it, " I was thinking the Losra's have a way with food ".

She then raised her hands as if defeated, " I don't look for trouble, it just seems to find me ". Liam rolled his eyes, " Famo and Resna I can understand, but did you have to do that to the Empress Dowager ".

Nectar nodded seriously, " Of course, she loves making trouble for me. I must crush her immediately anyway possible ". Liam shook his head, placing his hand on her shoulder " We're not on the battlefield, you don't have to be so aggressive ".

Images of her first life came to mind and she smiled, " You're right, this is a one woman assault and I will destroy them all ". Liam frowned, shaking her " What's that supposed to mean? I feel we're not thinking in the same direction anymore ".

Nectar patted his cheek and smiled kindly, " Oh my poor sweet Liam. You don't have to worry, I'll protect you ". Liam again rolled his eyes and face palmed her, " You need sleep, lots of it ". Nectar laughed, flailing her hands at him " Come here, let me protect you ".

" I didn't think I'd see you again Rick ", Richard laughed, leaning on a tree " Let's just say its been a while ". Axis who was lying on the floor smiled slightly at his two dumb friends.

Luscious' hands dangled as he lied down on the tree branch, " Axis missed you too. He was a lot moodier, always sighing and looking out the window ". Axis smiled and picked a blade of grass and threw it.

Luscious managed to flip to the other side of the branch as the blade struck the tree and he laughed victoriously, " You forget I'm half snake ". Axis laughed, kicking the tree hard, " You forget demons are exceptionally strong ".

Luscious nearly lost his grip, his feet dangling as he glared down at Axis and climbed back up. Rick laughed at the two, [ I missed you guys a lot ] but knew if he said that out loud, he'd get a beaten for being 'emotional'.

He did get a beaten anyway and soon landed on his butt, " What was that for "? Axis plucked another blade of grass, " For nearly attacking us in that Drunkard's Palace ".

Rick rubbed his neck where he was hit, " Exactly, nearly. Wait, how did you recognize me "? Luscious stretched out his hand, " That silly knife trick of yours ". Richard laughed, " It's only because you know how I make them, plus I didn't expect Red to get away from me in the first place ".

Nectar's goofy face came to mind as he swung his leg on the branch, " She whooped your ass, didn't she "? Richard coughed, trying to hide his embarrassment " She caught me unaware and besides I think my timing was bad ".

Axis chuckled, looking up at the cloudy sky " Excuses and Bullshit ". Richard sighed, " She just won this eating contest and let me tell you, that woman can eat. Then she drinks enough liquor to make a guy drunk at least twice and decides to be alone and a complete stranger she didn't like comes in ".

Luscious couldn't help but laugh and mumbled to himself, " Nectar really has her share of fun ". Axis only sighed, " She's right not to like you but why ". Rick shrugged, " She said I looked like someone she really hated ".

" Archie please go to sleep ", Archie laughed as he jumped on the bed and taking his already tired mother with him. " This whole peace thing is fun ". Bonsi smiled tiredly, looking up at him " Really, why "?

Archie jumped high and landed hard into the bed, looking at her " Sister Qidu ". Bonsi laughed, " The empress does seem like a charming person ". Archie nodded, " She said she wanted the first one I go to to be super fun and memorable so when we have our celebration, I'll be able to teach the little guys ".

Bonsi, turned on her side and looked at him " Really, What little guys "? Archie counted on his small fingers, " Uncle Lu's, Uncle Konnie's and Sister Qidu's kids of course. I'm the big kid so I take care of them ".

Bonsi nodded with a smile, " That's very nice of you. You've always been a big kid ". Archie shook his head, " Nuh uh. Mario, Nathaniel, Nichole and June are older than me but August and I are the same age. He really likes plants ".

She frowned at the foreignness of the names and Archie could obviously tell, " We had dinner together earlier and we're friends too ". Bonsi nodded [ Most be the kids the empress always takes around ] " I discovered something as well mother, but I need your help ".

Bonsi nodded, turning on her back and looking at the ceiling " Whatever you want, I'll see what I can do about that ". Archie laughed, jumping on her stomach " I want a baby sister to love and protect to.... "
