Luscious couldn't believe his little mouse ears. Though he had no intention of interfering with their plans, it was still surprising [ What could Eros have done to deserve death? ]

But it was obvious something was wrong with their relationship but she hated him with a passion so strong she'd betray him but to be fair, Eros had always being an overly ambitious man.

He'd been close with Rick when they were younger but then it was discovered that Rick had tried to kill his father and even poisoned his crown princess. He known the man well and he was a trusting fool but he'd never go to the extreme.

The man avoided confrontations as much as possible but that was only because his personality was so laid back. He should have been killed but Arthur couldn't do it. In the end, Rick had disappeared.

All that happened two years ago but it seemed he wasn't gonna go down easy.Luscious could still understand Rick but he was more curious about the reason Nectar had.

Nectar couldn't believe it either, she didn't think she'd be able to find Rick so quickly. But now that she was around, she couldn't let him fail miserably again. And he'd make a better emperor for these people.

Nectar wasn't sure what she'd be doing with the rest of her life after she was no longer an empress, but she had no intention of suffering or letting innocent people suffer.

She knew she was far from being a good person but she knew what grief felt like and she had no intention of inflicting that sort of pain on the people. Rick looked at her suspiciously and she frowned, " If you have something to say, say it ".

Rick shrugged, " Don't get so worked up, I'm just curios as to why you hate my asshole of a brother so much ". Nectar had a few reasons to hate him, from the death of her son and best friend, torturing her in jail for two freaking years to her pitiful death.

But that didn't matter now and besides, who would believe her? She laughed, " Why would I tell you, when I can show you ". She pulled down the collar of her shirt, showing the whip marks at her collar bone.

Rick frowned instantly, he'd recognize those whip marks anywhere. They were smooth yet left a strange scaly like mark when used, looking like dragon scales. It had never being used on him but he'd seen it being used on people and it was excruciating.

What was even stranger was how it remained bloody and fresh when it obviously wasn't. Nectar readjusted her shirt and yawned, " Now you have an inkling of why I hate your brother so so much ".

Rick gulped and nodded, " I must say, that was unexpected but that's alright ". Nectar nodded and she leaned on the wall behind the door, " Enough of me. There isn't much time before Eros is unstoppable ".

She wasn't wrong, many had tried to stop him several times after the peace treaty but all failed for some reason and his power over Crepta only grew over the twelve years she was empress.

But she'd gladly take everything from under his feet and show him the true meaning of hopelessness. " The first thing we have to do is destroy The Fields ". The others in the room obviously had no idea what it was but Rick did.

" How do you know about that "? Nectar smiled slightly, " Does that really matter "? Rick was beginning to regret his decisions but there was nothing he could do at this point [ She has such important information, she's useful to me ]

" What do you know "? Nectar smiled, " We can discuss that another time. I have a feeling we'll meet another time. Pleasure doing business with you ". She walked towards the wall in front of her and disappeared, leaving behind small blue snowflakes over mouse Luscious nose.

When Nectar saw she was back in her room, she did a silent victory lap and whispered " I can't believe that worked "! She calmed down as she face palmed herself, " I forgot my beer. What's wrong with me "? And disappeared again.
