Alex decided that he needed to make as much money for this auction. He also wanted to put up a few items. The auction would be a worldwide event and would include other races. These races live within our universe; however, we've had no interaction with them yet. While gold is a currency used, you can also bid with another type of currency. This type of currency is called Magic Crystals. The value of Magic crystals is based on a few factors. The first factor is the amount of mana stored inside the crystal. The next factor is the element of the magic crystal. The rarer elements like Space, Time, Spiritual, Light, and Darkness go for more. Also, variant elements go for more than their normal counterparts. Luckily for Alex, he knew where to find a Mana Stone vein of the water element. Even more impressively, it's right next to the Black Sea Hotel. He had already informed the Undead King about it and told him to capture it at all costs. He also warned him about the importance of such a location and advised him to be stealthy. He then instructed Mia and everyone else in the guild to gather as much gold as they could. He even assigned them quests that paid out a substantial amount of gold. While he was on his way to the place he wanted as his home base, the first three days were uneventful for Alex; however, he had gained a considerable amount of gold coins. On the fourth day, he arrived at the city that was in close proximity to the area he was heading to. The city occupied a large area and appeared to be crowded. The gates had long lines of people and carriages. Alex sighed at this ridiculously long line and got behind the last person. He waited for three hours until he was finally next.

"Next!"

"Hello, how are you today?"

"I'm fine. Now, your name, purpose of visit, and trials completed."

"I'm Lucifer. I would like to settle down here, and I've completed 2 trials."

"Hmm? Alright, here's your pass to enter the city. Enjoy your stay in Faint Heart City." Alex nodded to the guard and entered the city. The city was filled with people of various races, and he even spotted a few players. Players are easily distinguishable by the green diamond above their heads. Alex didn't wait and quickly took a tour around the city. The city was divided into 5 districts: East, West, North, South, and Core districts. Each district corresponds to specific needs. The West is where the shops and restaurants are located. The North consists mostly of housing and also where the noble area is located. The East is the entertainment district. The South is the slums and where the criminals reside. The Core area is where the Palace and royals live. Yes, Faint Heart City is the capital city of the Faint Heart Kingdom. The kingdom has a high influence inside the Outer East area, the region Alex wants to set up as his anchor, which is below the ocean to the North of the city. The ocean is something unique inside Purgatory, which makes the water special in its own way. The water is a beautiful clear blue and is called the Blue Sky Water. The water is unique to Purgatory and also has special benefits. Once ingested, it can increase a person's stats. These gains differ from person to person; however, a guaranteed 10-point increase in all attributes is common. This increase happens only if you ingest it; if you bathe in it, you can gain a boost in your resistances. You would gain 20 points in Fire and Water resistance, along with Heat and Cold resistance. Of course, the trade-off is the usual scarcity of the liquid and the intense pain that occurs when you use it. The scarcity isn't a concern as a whole ocean of it is right in front of him. The only problem is getting permission to actually use the ocean. The royal family carefully and strictly guards the water. He had been asking around and found three ways to get access to the water. The first way was to become at least a Count of the kingdom. The second was to make a great contribution to the kingdom or royal family. The last way is to marry into the royal family. Of course, he had already dismissed the first way as it would take too long. The second way would also be difficult. Then, Alex didn't feel like trading himself for an item. So he was back at the beginning. If he couldn't find anything soon, he would have to consider marrying one of their daughters. Alex sighed and went to find an inn. An inn is usually the perfect place to gather information. He found an inn and sat down on the first floor. The first floor also served as a restaurant and a tavern. He ordered a simple glass of water and listened to the conversations happening around him.

"Hey, have you heard?"

"What?"

"Apparently, the first princess got into a fight with the king again."

"Again? How many times does that make it this week?"

"I don't know, but apparently she didn't like the person the king had chosen to marry her."

"Haha! That does sound like her!"

"Mhm, oh yeah! The second princess aced another test last night."

"That doesn't surprise me one bit! The second princess isn't called a talent in a millennium for no reason."

"Ahaha! That's true! Let's drink to that!"

"Hahaha!"

"It's too bad the king doesn't have a son. The succession rights have been messy recently."

"True, I just hope we don't get caught up in it."

Alex smiled at the conversations he had overheard. So far, he's heard that the king has two daughters in total. The eldest daughter is a free spirit and likes to make her own decisions. The youngest daughter is a prodigy in the truest sense. Alex didn't believe he would be able to meet either one of them. He finished his water and went to the room he had rented. While walking upstairs, his gaze drifted to two people entering the inn. When he saw the reactions of the people inside the inn, he smiled. He then thought to himself,

"What luck do I have? To think both princesses would be here."
