Chapter 37 -- Let’s Die Together

The item in Lu Li's hand dropped to the ground, but he didn't bother with it. An Lengyan, who felt a little guilty, wanted to help him pick it up, but he grabbed her by the waist. He then raised his head and said fiercely, "Where are you going?" 

An Lengyan finally saw the bloodshot and ruthless look in his eyes. For some reason, she panicked and couldn't find the words to say. She could only stare at him in a daze.

"Don't go, okay?" Lu Li's eyes suddenly turned red. He buried his head into her neck and said in a low voice with a hint of begging.

An Lengyan felt pained when she saw how desperate he was. However, she couldn't be soft-hearted anymore. It was best for her to leave this young man. She pushed him away. "I was just toying around with you. You didn't take it seriously, did you? I wouldn't fall for a poor guy like you." 

Lu Li became a bit gloomy as he said, "Is this what you want? Why don't you want it anymore?" 

An Lengyan looked at the book in his hand and instantly knew that this was what her teacher wanted. Then, she felt terrified. How did he know? And when did he find out?

Lu Li slowly approached her with a cruel smile on his face. He continued, "I found out when you approached me. Why did you tell your teacher that you didn't want it anymore?" 

"You read my emails?" An Lengyan felt a chill down her spine when she thought of this. She felt that there was something wrong with Lu Li, so she couldn't help but step back. This time, she retreated to the window and pressed her back against the cold wall. Lu Li was getting closer and closer.

It was only then that An Lengyan realized how terrifying this youth was.

Lu Li suddenly opened the window. An Lengyan's upper body fell out of the window. She only managed to stabilize herself after Lu Li hugged her waist. Before she could even breathe, she felt her body being pushed a little further away by him.

The cold rain outside the window hit the two of them. A bolt of lightning flashed, and An Lengyan felt like Lu Li's expression was extremely creepy.

Lu Li's voice sounded again, "I gave you a chance. You didn't want it, so don't blame me." 

He seemed to have thought of a good idea. He smiled happily and said, "Maybe I can take you to die with me. That way, you can stay by my side forever." 

An Lengyan suddenly realized that he was telling the truth and not trying to scare her. She nervously swallowed hard and quickly said, "I just thought that you wouldn't give me that technology, so I wanted to leave. Since you're going to give it to me, I naturally won't leave." 

Lu Li frowned, as if he was thinking about whether or not she was telling the truth.

An Lengyan saw that there was hope, so she continued to say, "You've read my emails, so you should know how important this technology is to me, right? If you give me this technology, I can stay with you forever. If I die, you won't be able to see me anymore." 

Seeing that Lu Li was still thinking, she bravely hugged his neck and took a deep breath. Then, she said coquettishly, "Lu Li, I'm a little cold." 

Lu Li's gaze darkened. He suddenly hugged her and pushed her out of the window. Lu Li was the only one left in the room. This was the eighth floor!

An Lengyan closed her eyes and hugged his neck tightly. She had a flash of inspiration and shouted, "Lu Li, I love you." 

After she said this, she clearly felt the arm around her waist tighten. The firm muscles pressed against her lower back. In the next second, she returned to the room.

She let out a long sigh of relief and collapsed into Lu Li's arms. Outside the window, there were lights that were lit up by the students and teachers who had just heard her bold declaration. An Lengyan's mouth twitched and she couldn't help but glare at him. "It's all your fault. It's so embarrassing." 

Lu Li's mood was obviously better, and even the corners of his mouth curled up slightly. He hugged An Lengyan and kissed her. In between the kisses, he didn't forget to take the time to warn her, "You better not be lying to me, or I'll break your legs and lock you up." 

An Lengyan subconsciously curled up her legs. She felt goosebumps on her legs, as if she was being stared at by a beast.
