Chapter 99: Therapy (1):

The doctor that was in charge of me realised I wasn't in my room. So he found me here. "Miss Hui Qing, didn't I instruct you to stay in your room and don't move?" Ren Ran*(1) asked. "Ren Ran ge, my sister is giving birth I can't just stay inside my room," I stated the obvious as he glared at me. 

"Since you, you're here can you check on my legs? I don't think I can move them. Wei Wei had to help me onto the wheelchair," I asked quietly however Dad seemed to have been paying close attention towards me. "What?" shouted Dad in disbelief. "Quiet down," I muttered as he bent down to look at me. "Hui Qing, why didn't you tell anyone you couldn't move with your legs?" Dad asked. "Well, everyone was worried about hUi Yun including me. I just forgot," I explained. 

"Let me see," Ren Ran muttered as he got out a pen and started to test my reflex. They were all working. "Hmm, Hui Qing tell me whether or not you can feel this," he asked as I nodded. I could feel every part he touched. This is so weird. If my reflexes are working and I can feel his touches then why am I not able to walk?

"Ren Ran, can you check what's wrong with her?" Dad asked as Ren Ran shook his head. "Uncle, I'm a neuro doctor, not an orthopedist. So, I'm not too sure, why Hui Qing is like this. But I can get her checked up by my colleagues," uttered Ren Ran.

Huai Ning, Qi Yan you guys go with Hui Qing," ordered Father as the two men nodded. I could understand why Dad was staying. Getting Huai Ning to go with me ain't a problem either. But to get my so-called fiance to go with me was a problem. I hardly know the man. Uhh. What Dad wants to do is quite obvious. But it's not gonna work that easily. I'm gonna put up a fight, no matter what. 

Wei Wei also decided to accompany us. "Huai Ning, I haven't seen you in years, how are you?" Wei Wei asked. "I've been alright. What about you? And how's aunt and uncle?" replied Huai Ning. "They're good and I have been alright," she muttered.

Well, talk about the awkwardness between the two. Since when were they so civilised with each other? They used to argue every moment they saw each other. Wei Wei has been my friend since elementary school and of course, she will know my twin brother. But those two hated each other.

"What's going on with you two? Since when were you both calm with each other?" I asked. "It's complicated. Well when Huai Ning left for America, I was proud of his decision. He's finally not hiding behind your shadow anymore. So I decided I'll be kinder towards him," replied Wei Wei.

"Wait Huai Ning went to America?" I asked, "When was this?". Wei Wei looked at Huai Ning before saying "About 3 years ago he left to study medicine in America,". "I remember that Huai Ning didn't want to go to America," I muttered. "At first I didn't want to go, but something happened and I decided to go to America," Huai Ning explained.

"So what happened?" I asked. Huai Ning signed and replied, "It doesn't matter anymore. The consequence is you aren't allowed to drive anymore and I went to America,". What? I'm even more confused now. I looked at Wei Wei and she mouthed, "Later,".

"It might help Hui Qing gain her memory if you talk to her more about the past," suggested Ren Ran as everyone nodded. "Wei Wei, I remember, I used to write a journal, do I still do that now?" I asked as she nodded. "Then can you bring it to me the next time you come and visit?" I questioned again she nodded.
