Chapter 53: Period Pain:

Qi Yan sent me back to my dorm and drove back to his villa. And I immediately felt my stomach hurt. And it seems to me that there was a whole river gushing down there. Oh, God. No. What day is today? I looked at my phone frantically and noticed it was 16 April 2022.

I walked over to my bedside cupboard grabbed a small pink bag out of it along with some pjs and rushed straight inside the bathroom that was connected to our dorm. Wei Wei looked at me and asked what was wrong. I muttered nothing and closed the door. To my utmost horror, there was blood. Oh gosh. Looks like I ain't going to school tomorrow. Because my period pain hurts so much even when I take the pills. I tidied myself and walked out of the bathroom after taking a quick shower.

Seeing me come outside of the bathroom looking quite depressed Wei Wei walked over to me and asked what's wrong? I looked at her and signed and muttered nothing. "You sure?" she asked. I nodded and climbed onto my bed. I sleep on the bottom bunk with Wei Wei right above me. "Wei Wei pass me some paracetamol and water," I croaked whilst placing my hand on top of my stomach. Wei Wei looked at me and finally realised and rushed over to grab some medicine.

After I had some painkillers, I slept through the night peacefully. However, early in the morning, I had the most aching headache and I was already having a fever. I think that my body is at its weakest during this time of the month. My back hurts, my whole body hurts. "Hui Qing are you ok?" Wei Wei asked as she saw that I had still not gotten out of bed even when my alarms had gone off. Usually, I would wake up before my alarms unless I was sick or had to pull an all-nighter.

"Not ok," I moaned as Wei Wei placed her cool hand on my burning head. "Damn your burning up," admitted Wei Wei as Cheng Li passed her a thermometer. "Woah 40 degrees," announced Cheng Li as Fang Feng came over to watch what was happening.

"Damn, your burning up. Let me call your doctor for you," muttered Wei Wei as she reached her hand for her phone. "Don't," I croaked "Call Cheng Li's home doctor, it's quicker as Cheng Li lives in this state and also my family doesn't need to know. I don't want them to worry,". Cheng Li nodded and grabbed her phone to make the call. Cheng Li's family is sort of middle class whereas me and Wei Wei are upper class. Cheng Li's family is new money whereas ours's is old money. "She is coming," muttered Cheng Li. I looked at my watch and noticed it was almost 9. "Guys, you can leave first. You have a lesson," I muttered. Cheng Li looked at me and replied "I don't have a lesson this morning. I'll look after you as I wait for the doctor," I looked at her and shook my head. I didn't want to inconvenient her. Cheng Li looked at me and said "If you don't want to inconvenient me then I'll call your soon to be husband,". I hurried denied this option as well. I didn't want him to know I was sick just in case he rushes over here.

The other left and it was just me and Cheng Li waiting for the doctor.
