Chapter 19: Ok I'll deal with Qi Mei

Four years ago Qi Yu's health took a change to the bad side. His heart was failing and needed to have a heart transplant so all of his sons, daughters and grandchildren force to be there, deliberately spending time off to look after their father. But Qi Yu himself could see through all of their hypocrite's faces. So he left his company for Qi Yan, when Qin Yu left his company for Qi Yan he was only 20 years old and still studying business and computer science. Luckily Qi Yu's surgery was a success. After his surgery though all of his sons and daughter rejected seeing him saying they were busy with work. As for his grandchildren most did visit him with gifts and all. After Qi Yan finished Tsinghua university he opened up a gaming business company. This company focuses on making games. Most teenagers love the games that Qi Yan's company: Qi Shan created. These were only rumours I'd heard but I don't know if it was the truth.

I wonder if there would be a day when Qi Yan himself would tell me about his childhood and his family matters. We were nearing my dorm and I still hadn't decided how to tell Qi Yan about Qi Mei. And so I asked my besties:

Xiao Qing: How do I mention Qi Yan about Qi Mei?

Cheng Li: Gurl just say the truth

Xiao Fang: Agree

Wei Wei: apart from that I don't know how to say it...

I closed the app and we were already outside of my dorm. Since when did Qi Yan drive so quickly? He looked at me and gestured for me to leave and go back upstairs. "Do you've anything to say?" Qi Yan asked after seeing me twiddling with my hands. I looked up and answered "Uh... Qi Mei is your sister right?" he nodded and looked curious about what I had to say. "So... how do I put this into words? After our engagement has been settled she kinda was very persistent in being my friend. This is all fine and everything but the thing is that she would stop me from getting close to any boys. Don't mistake but I have this project I need to do with my classmate I can't do that because Yong Zhen is a boy but we've always worked together in our assessment. We have good chemistry," I explained as his face darken. Why is his face darkening? Oh is he jealous? I grabbed his hand and spoke coquettishly "Me and Yong Zhen are only friends and besides he like Fang Feng though he's taking a bit of a time to confess. Seriously they both like each other, they just need a bit of a nudge," his face lighten so does that mean he was jealous? Just like that? He doesn't even know Yong Zhen. "Anyways Qi Mei's matter..." I asked he nodded and replied "I deal with it," he took off his seatbelt and opened his door stepped out and walked towards my door opened and escorted me out. He escorted me towards the door leading to my dorm building I stopped at the staircase and turned around. "Something else that's the matter?" he asked I walked towards him and leaned over gently kissing him on his cheek and ran straight upstairs opened the door and slip in. Reaching the stairs I blushed and thought what the hell did I just do?

"Wow, what did we just see? what happened outside," they all shouted as soon as I opened the door. "What do you mean?" I replied blushing. "Xiao Fang here all saw Qi Yan's car and she alerted us to see what happened wow Qing Jia I didn't know you were so bold," Wei Wei laughed as I closed the door put my handbag down and ran towards them punching every one of them. After we had all calmed down Cheng Li asked me if I told Qi Yan about what Qi Mei did. I nodded and immediately my phone had a notification. It was Qi Mei who was apologising to me for what she did. In summary, she said sorry and that it was inconsiderate of her to disrupt my life and so will maintain a safe distance in the future. I explained everything to the others and they all jumped up in celebration. "Gurl hurry up and call Yong Zhen you need to start doing your project," Fang Feng elaborated. "You want to see him more right?" I smirk as she blushed and we all laughed heartily.

After the laughter, all died down. I seem to have lost my phone which was quickly found thanks to Xiao Fang's 'help'. "Calm down. I think he might be a bit busy it's a Saturday after all I call him later," I smirked as she glared and ordered me "Don't tease. Hurry up and call him,". I opened my phone in reply and called him whilst putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" Yong Zhen began. "Hello Senior it's me Hui Qing, I was wondering when you are free to begin our assignment?" I replied. "Oh, I was wondering if everything was fine since there was this girl who kept on stopping me from talking to you..." he blurted. Now it was my time to blush. "Um, I've dealt with that. So when are you free?" I asked. "How about right now? Or tomorrow? Which one works best for you?" he replied. "I'm outside right now but I've got some ideas I've left in the dorm. I'll ask Xiao Fang to give it to you and you can give me your opinion on the drawings," I stated. After some time he replied, "Sure but would it be troubling Xiao Fang classmate?".

"No it won't be any trouble and besides she has nothing to do," I reasoned. He agreed and I sent Fang Feng's number to him. Xiao Fang herself was looking like a tomato. "Gurl you guys better have some progress or all of my hard work will all be wasted," I teased.
