Giving Samia a ride

Felix was woken up by a call from Samia. Before he could pick it up it was already off.

Felix remembered how he behaved last night and felt guilty. He was in a terrible mood because of his father.

Samia called him after reaching the office and finding that he didn't come today.

Felix washed up and called Samia back.

Samia informed him about his meeting with Mr. James.

He was very important and could have been a crucial person in the development of his business. He was very punctual about his time. So there was no way they would be able to meet him again, they must have already angered him by not showing up.

He was already in a terrible mood and his mood only worsened after hearing this news.

He couldn't help but scolded Samia.

"You knew how important this meeting was. It's your job to remind me and make me aware of my schedule. You can't even do such a small thing."

"Sorry, Sir." Samia apologized softly.

Felix felt that it was enough. He was also at fault for not remembering it. He just lost his mind right now.

"It's fine. I shouldn't have yelled at you. Sorry." Felix hung up the phone.

Samia was confused. She knew it was her mistake and it was only his right to scold her but why did he apologize? And it seemed like he was angry about something else.

Anyways She doesn't have time to delve into it. She was just late for today and it seemed like everyone had trouble today. Even Ryan, the most punctual guy hasn't come to the office till now.

She thought of checking up on him after all, he has always been on time. And he wasn't on a holiday too.

Samia dialed Ryan's number and the call was picked up just before it was going to end.

"Hello, Ryan are you on a holiday, you didn't come today," Samia asked.

"Umm." Ryan sounded a little bit hesitant " I actually fractured my leg bone accidentally and I am still in the hospital." Ryan told her that he won't be able to do his work as usual and she'll have to handle that to which Samia said that it was ok. He should get well soon.

" By the way, Sir might not be in a good mood today, So he may speak something to you, don't take that to heart ok, he isn't like that," Ryan said thoughtfully.

Samia is going to handle his work so it is necessary for her to know that Felix sometimes says what he doesn't mean.

As to what she will interpret it no one knows.

"Ok, I understand." Samia hung up after telling him to take care of himself.

She felt that today everything strange was happening. Felix slept in, Ryan fractured his leg and her damn period came.

Since Ryan is on leave her workload increased by leaps and bounds.

Her waist is already aching. She doesn't have time to think about anything else.

After a while, Felix came and they resumed their work. Felix wanted to say something but stopped himself in case he might say something he shouldn't. After all his mother always taught him to respect girls. Just because he is in a bad mood, he can't take it out on another person.

Felix noticed that Samia looked a little pale today and it looked like she was trying her best to not show anything.

He tried asking her but she said she was fine.

"Everyone makes mistakes and it's not completely your fault. Though It would have been great if we collaborated, it's not like we won't be able to do anything without them. Don't think too much about it." Felix said indicating the end of the discussion about the morning's matter.

In the afternoon Felix went to visit Ryan at the hospital.

"I am sorry." Felix felt very guilty seeing Ryan in this condition.

"It's fine. It's just a fractured bone." Ryan replied. After all, he has seen people ending up worse and he understood Felix's condition was quite serious.

They chatted for a while.

"I think you should give Samia a chance," Ryan said.

"I already apologized to her for Mr. James's incident, it wasn't completely her fault," Felix replied changing the topic.

"You know I didn't mean that." Before Felix could interrupt him Ryan continued " She is a very nice girl. I know that you have a good impression of her. And there's no harm in giving it a try. You should be quick, what if another man steals your chance? You will have to regret it then."

"I already have a reputation of a Playboy. Do you think anyone would date me" Felix said gloomily.

" She knows what kind of person you are. You don't have to worry about that. And you know they were all fake."

Ryan said that he needs to rest So Felix could only leave.

Though he was his assistant, he was also his friend.

Felix knew he was only thinking about the best for him.

Felix sighed and headed towards his office.

Samia finished her day with so much difficulty.

It was just getting more painful as time passes. It seemed like the medicine's effects were gradually wearing off.

Samia just got outside the building when a car stopped in front of her.

She knew it was Felix's car. But she couldn't understand why he was here.

The car's window rolled down and Felix said "Come I will drop you."

Samia couldn't understand why this was happening. She can understand that the previous time he felt guilty but what about today, when she even did something wrong? Was he going to punish her or something?

Felix was amused looking at Samia who looked so conflicted. He was just giving her a ride. Why did she look like he was going to do something else?

"Stop thinking and get in." His expression said that he won't take no for an answer.

Samia knew that Felix rarely changes his mind. And she really doesn't have any energy to think about anything else. So she got in the car.
