Drunk Felix

As she is unable to use her hand, she won't be able to cook.

Samia thought she didn't have any option other than ordering take-out.

"Grrrr…." Her stomach rumbled. Samia's face became red. She wished she could dig a hole and hide herself.

'It is so embarrassing, he didn't hear anything, right.' Samia thought.

"Grrrr…" Samia's face was now as red as a tomato.

Just as she thought that Felix didn't notice anything, he chuckled but didn't say anything.

After some time the car stopped in front of a restaurant.

'So he heard it. It's so embarrassing.' She thought.

"Why don't we eat something first, I am quite hungry," Felix said in a teasing tone.

She can't reject him now can she? Her stomach was asking for food. He said that intentionally.

Samia responded with a humm.

She wished she could be out of his sight at that very moment but they are instead heading inside a restaurant to eat.

She doesn't know how to face him.

They ordered Paneer, Dal Makhani, Kaju Curry, Tandoori Roti, and Garlic Naan.

After the food was served Samia forgot about the embarrassment and her focus was completely on the food.

Though it was a little uncomfortable to eat with her right hand she still managed.

Felix has seen girls being very conscious about their diet, so he thought that she will order something light and healthy.

But Since the food has been delivered this girl has not spared him even a glance. Was it that delicious? He wondered.

After dinner, Samia thanked Felix for the dinner and he dropped her home.

After today's incident, they had become closer, but both of them were still unaware of it.

After a week, Samia's hand was almost healed. As her hand was treated quickly, even though it was a second-degree burn, her hand was prevented from developing blisters.

Samia resumed her work as usual.

In the evening.

In a private room of Apex Fusion, Felix was drinking heavily.

Ryan looked at him worriedly. He was thinking that something must have happened for Felix to be in a such bad mood, but he can't help him. Felix can act very crazy when he's drunk.

After seeing that it was getting worse by each time he sighed and called Eric, Felix's friend or his only friend.

Eric cane as soon as he got the news.

"Did you break up with someone, so now you are drowning your sorrows?" Eric joked.

But the man didn't respond to him. The whole room was giving a gloomy atmosphere.

"Ok, now you have drunk enough, let's go." Eric went closer to him cautiously.

Felix wasn't conscious of his surroundings or people.

"Don't you dare to touch me, bastard?"

Eric understood that he might have considered him as his father or someone.

Felix picked up the chair beside him and smashed it in front of the blurry figure he was seeing.

It was already too late before they registered what has happened.

Eric quickly dodged it but the chair was smashed on Ryan's leg, it sounded as if something cracked. Without guessing they knew that it was the sound of his Ryan bone cracking.

Eric picked up the bottle of water and splashed it on Felix's face.

The cold water helped Felix to get a hold of his surroundings.

He looked at Ryan who was in so much pain that he could barely stand. Guilt crept into him.

"Sorry" Felix apologized softly. He knew just now he lost his mind.

Eric helped Felix to get out of the room while he called someone to take Ryan to the hospital.

Sometimes when Felix's emotions become hard to handle he goes into a crazy state in which no one knows what he will do. He starts beating people, or talks nonsense, and most likely will get into a fight. He has seen many psychologists but none of them were able to cure him till now. No one can tell when he will be normal.

They were fortunate that he gained consciousness otherwise they can't imagine the outcome.

Eric dropped Felix to his apartment and went to see Ryan.

'This guy didn't even meet me for months and once he does he has created so much trouble.'

Eric sighed and drove back to the hospital.

Fortunately, Ryan didn't sustain many injuries but his leg bone was fractured which will take him almost three months to recover from.

The next day

Samia woke up and reached out for her phone, confused because her alarm didn't ring. The phone showed the time at 11 AM. Samia flinched, she tried getting up but her body, especially her stomach, and her waist ached terribly.

Samia knew it was her period. How can she forget about such a big existence? These five days felt like hell every month.

She sometimes can even faint from the cramps and pain.

Samia struggled while getting out of bed.

She will have to wash the sheets too, another hassle. She tidied up with difficulty.

Samia thought of taking a leave for today but decided against it. She can't possibly take a leave for a period every month.

Samia was doing her morning routine even though her mind was on her aching waist. Her brain was not functioning at all. The only thing it could think of was, 'Is it necessary to cause so much pain? So many people have normal periods without any cramps and here I am.

Samia suddenly remembered that today Felix has a meeting with Mr. James at 10 AM and she still hasn't reached the office.

James is one of the top 10 businessmen around the world. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to even have a chance to talk to him.

" I am doomed, how can I forget about such an important meeting, if Sir forgets about it, no..no..no. How will he forget about such an important person."

Even thinking about this possibility gave her chills down her spine. She endured the pain and took a painkiller and headed for the office.

Meanwhile Felix, the person who was supposed to be in his office till this time was still sleeping soundly on his bed.
