Completely Changed
"WHAT!" Iris shouted in shock.
She promptly sat up on the bed and glanced at the window. Then, she checked her watch and was astonished to discover it was already Monday.
"You should wake me up, Xavier. How could I sleep for so long?"
She tried to get out of bed but stopped when she heard him saying, "You were sleeping so peacefully, and I was afraid you would experience pain again if I woke you up," Xavier explained. "Are you feeling hungry?" he asked when he heard a noise from her belly.
Iris felt her face redden as her stomach growled. She was indeed hungry.
"I'm starving, but I need to shower first," she said, rushing to the bathroom, imagining how terrible she looked.
"Take your time, Iris. I'll have the chefs prepare your dinner," he said, a faint smile gracing his pale face. Then, send a word to Justin to ask the Chef to prepare dinner for Iris.
