From Yang Li memoriesl Leon also found out how a beast cultivate. A Common beast improvement over a wild beast, is that a Common beast has the ability to absorb spiritual energy from the heavens. And Just like a cultivator can manifest spiritual energy while fighting, a common beast can control the spiritual energy to form it's own moves to attack the enemy.

In the Desolate world, beast have nine ranks , Common rank, Beast soldier, Elite beast soldier, beast General, Beast Lord, Beast king, Beast Saint, Beast emperor, Holy beast Rank.

Leon also knew how he can immediately become a common beast however he was conflicted

"If I absorb my mother's beast core I can become a common beast but I can't bring myself to do that, even though I only just recovered my memories, she was my mother, who used her life to protect me"

When a beast promotes to a common rank beast, they form a beast core in their body, this is the center of their cultivation their entire life. Beast and even humans can absorb these beast cores to cultivate at a faster speed than absorbing spiritual energy from the heavens.

"wait I'm so stupid isn't Yang Li a adventurer, he should have beast cores or even common beast flesh either can allow me become a common rank Beast.

Dragging his injured leg to Yang Li corpse he searched according to the memory he got from Yang Li's soul, according to the memories some beast core were in Yang Li's storage pouch,

He then ran into another problem, the storage pouch wasn't like his system, where he could pull things as he wanted, the storage pouch required spiritual energy, something that Leon can't use yet.

"I definitely can't disrespect my mother's corpse..... if I put the Storage pouch in the system would the items come out?"

As he thought about that he tried it, today was his lucky day as the items came out of the pouch, there were over a dozens common beast cores, some dried beats meat and some soul demon crystals,from Yang Li memory this was what humans used to seal the dead beast souls.

Leon planned placed his mother's and the Yang Li corpse in his Inventory and headed back to his den, The blood will attract more beast and Leon can't deal with that.

The den was located on the side of hillside going around 10 meters into the hill, just big enough for Leon and his mother.On the walls of the den were overgrown weeds reminding you that you are in the Forest.

Sitting down Leon swallowed one of the beast cores, the energy in the Beast core erupted in his body causing a resonance to the surrounding spiritual energy.

Spiritual energy started spread to all corners of his body, the energy then started to condense forming something solid around his stomach area, as the core formed, the bones in his small body creaked and muscles trembled , from the size of an adult cat, Leon growed rapidly to a size of over 1 meter tall, Mane formed around his face, highliging his masculinity, two Flaming wings sprouted from his back causing him to involuntarily levitate.

As the surrounding spiritual energy receded, Leon huge body fell to the Floor, high Flaming wings folded on his back which further magnify his magnificents.

Looking at the screen the first thing he looked at was his talent and skills,they were really strong, especially Deterrence with this he could easily get system points,

The amount of points needed to evolve my bloodline increased by 5 times, I guess the stronger you get the more points is needed.

Since I can't upgrade my rank, let's upgrade my skills as soon as he thought about it, System points disappeared and appeared on Flame Bomb and Detererence

"Good the restrictions are continuously lessening what will it be like at level 9 or 10" thinking about the endless possibilities Leon was elated.

The sun fell replaced by a moon that illuminated the whole island, Leon stood near a 10 meter pit which he dug, inside his mother corpse laid peacefully which completely overshadowed the gaping sword wound that went through her head. Tears fell from Leon's large eyes

"I'm no longer a human, in this world beast are no longer the pinnacle existence of this world, we are hunted every second for our flesh, cores and souls, Events like today will likely happen often, however the humans will eventually pay dearly for me and my mother went through" Leon said shredding his last bit of humanity

After using his large paws to shove the dirt over his mother corpse, his size quickly shrunk to a size a bit bigger than a cat, his wings retracted into his body, if it wasn't for his mane he would look no different from when he was a Wild beast cub . After experimenting for a bit Leon realised he could control his size, with that he could move more unoticing .

Stepping out of the den he condensed a flame bomb, throwing it at the walls at the entrance of the den, directly exploded it covering his mother tomb. Leon decided to leave the tomb as it was too close to the shoreline of the island, he is going to start his journey to the inner areas of the island.

Leon had a lofty ambition, which was to completely take over this island making it an island humans can't enter. As the months and years passed he will slowly realise that this was not a dream anymore but a inevitable path towards his future domination.

In a tall patch of grass Flare hid in his shrunken body, at a shallow stream a Boar was drinking water peacefully,,from the memories he absorbed from Yang Li this was a raging boar, when it is in danger it will enter a enraged state where it's strength will atleast doubled, Leon planned to sneak attack the boar as he might not be it's match in it's enraged state.

With a bang a Flame bomb bombarded the Raging Boar's body, steam spread in the surroundings as the Flame evaporated some of the water from the shallow stream, a loud growl was heard as a charred raging boar quickly approached the position where Leon hid.

Opening his wings Leon flew into the sky, Leon was shocked that the Boar survived despite being completely unprepared.

Seeing the Raging Boars' rank Leon finally realized why it could survive, "Luckily it is seriously injured"

Leon's Lion body enlarged in the sky looking down at the Boar like a king looking down on his subjects, Leon manipulated his Flames forming four lion apparitions which bombarded the Raging Boar's already injured body from all directions.

With it's last bit of strength the Boar tried to flee desperately, however it couldn't compare to Leon's speed, appearing above the Raging Boar's fleeing figure Leon coated flames on his lion's claw and swipe down on the Raging Boar's head.

Blood blossomed in the air as the Raging Boar's head was slit open.
