"Why would you want me to keep living?" Eclipse asks, tilting his head to the side. "Besides, you say that as though I have a choice in the matter." 

"You do." Sola turns so quickly that he ends up startling him, though he did try his hardest to not show it. "You can and you should." 

"Sola, I am sorry ... but I don't think you understand what is happening here." Eclipse said, trying to make the Deity in front of him understand. "First of all, I am not a Deity, I do not have as much power and authority as you all do. 

"Even if I asked them to ... I don't know, pardon me and they end up pardoning me, I am still going to have to suffer massive punishments. The Deities are like that, after all.

"I could try to appeal to their emotional side but ... that will work only if they understand what I am saying.
