" all the house is collapsing, aim for the gate", Nora said through their mind link. 

The wolf speed up dodging the collapsing walls and depris, they hardly makes it to the gate when all the mansion collapse, both Nora and her wolf were panting heavily coughing their lungs out because of the dust, Nora climb down with a thud, dragging Rayd along, the wolf shift back collapsing on the floor, they both look tired and exhausted, They both lay motionless trying to catch their breathe.

"What happen when I passed out, why is he unconscious", Nora asked the girl who's trying to catch her breath

"He made a deal with Imogen to see his mom", she answers staring at Rayd blinking back tears, " I never thought his going to give himself in", she answers shaking her head tears running down her face..

"You mean that witch", Nora ask her eyes widening,

The girl nod her head a little sitting up straight,

" Why would he do that, that monster always cheat when you make a deal with him",

The girl looks at Nora confuse for she never saw the type of mirror in their kingdom.

" What did he bargain for", she asks her voice low,

" His energy to see his mom", the girl answer,

Nora's breath hitched she looks at Rayd laying lifeless tears running down her face, how could he be so foolish, he knows better never to make a deal with the old witch, they've been warned by the queen when they once sneaked into her chamber to know if Rayd would have a beautiful mate.

" Did you see the queen", Nora ask seeming afraid of her answers,

" She was captured by the sea monsters, the crown was taken away from her", she answers looking sad,

" Tell me all of it, don't spare any detail",

The girl nod folding her legs while looking towards Rayd, Nora follows her gaze which lands on Rayd, raising her eyebrows, she cleared her throat, the girl looks away smiling shyly.

" Paciras was in Chaos, the sea monsters are invading through a passage no one knows about, it looks like they've been digging the passage for the attack purpose, different types of sea monsters, the guard can't hold them for long before the queen arrives, the sea monsters are ferocious and seems ferral, they look like puppet whom are being controlled to kill, they're almost five types of sea monsters, I can't name them but can identify them, they almost wiped out all the warriors before the queen arrive to the gate, blood staining the kingdom surrounding like carpeted floor, the commander and the captain fought with all their life and also remain loyal to the crown but was still over powered, the queen use all the Art she could master but it seems the sea creatures knew of them all, they counter attack with every spell she uses putting her at a disadvantage, they used the mermaid forbidden fruit in the water killing most citizen in the kingdom, most of them are held captive at the coral dungeon, the queen tried but was still over powered, she can't do it alone, the sea monsters are just to much and there's this mermaid called Reef, he is the leader of the sea monsters, I heard most of the sea monsters calling him their king, he personally take the queen away laughing smugly.

Nora gasp her body going numb," It can't be, it can't be", that all she kept chanting like a prayer, the girl calls her her voice low.

"Master, do you know Reef",

Nora nods her head blinking back tears, how could he do this to them, he was loyal to the crown, how could their uncle and guardian do this, he ruined their family and lost their trust, but she can't show weakness in this situation, is that why the queen send them away because she's aware of the incoming threat, it just don't make much sense. 

Nora was pacing back and front lazily just thinking about the situation, them leaving Paciras for just a day and everything changes, they couldn't even get to their destination, they could have stayed back, they could have work together, they could have save the kingdom, they could rule forever and be the greatest Mermaid Empire in the whole Realms, then She remembered her dad advice a day before he got poisoned.

" That my princess, now hold the sword close to your chest", the king said to young Nora who did as asked, both he and the king where distracted by the eruption of ln laughter in the training ground.

they were training at the training ground with the rest of the warriors, a young warrior was being recruited, he doesn't know how to grab his sword or to move his legs, he was thrown to the ground easily by his opponent, all the warriors laugh so hard mocking the young warrior pointing at him, tus makes the young warrior ashamed and felt bad, the king was enraged at their action, he dismissed them all and plan to strip them of their duties, the king left in rage at their silliness, Nora followed her dad to his chamber running a little along the way with how fast the king was walking, when he gets to hisq chamber, he turns towards Nora and smiled,

"Come sit my princess", young Nora smiled happily as she sat on the king's lap.

"What wrong papa, you look sad", young Nora asked.

" Yes my princess, am so saddened by the event on the training ground, do you know why my princess",

"No papa", young Nora answered shaking her head,

"The warriors are shameless, they laught at their own kind when he needed their support and encouragement, it destroys the heart my princess, what they did has erased the respect he has for them and makes them look pathetically selfish", the king said,

Nora nodded her heard " so papa we should never laugh at others right", young Nora fixing her turquoise eye ball to her dad,

" Yes my Princess", the king answered placing a gentle kiss to her forehead,

The king sat her down facing him, 

" Let me tell you this three things my princess, never laugh at someone's weakness, never give up family for worldly possessions, and never give up on your loved ones because together you'll be stronger and conquer the world", he said the last part patting her hair gently as he smiled. Young Nora hugged her papa tightly,

" I promise to abide by those papa, I can't wait to tell them to the young prince papa", Nora said giggling childishly,

The king gasped in awww, " the young prince is not yet born my princess, let go see your momma and see how the young prince is doing in momma's belly". He said throwing her up a little, they but giggle as they head towards the queen's chamber the guards bowing as they walked.

Nora get to her knees and realised a strangled loud cry as she remembers her dad, the greatest king ever, tears run down her cheeks wetting the groung where her tears drops, her body shaking vigorously at how intense she was crying, she seems to choke on air as it starts to get hard to breath, the girl looks at Nora pitifully then towards Rayd who still lay lifeless wiping her tears with the same piece of Rayd's clothing.
