Prologue

From the day I was pushed out of my mother's womb everyone knew the hardships that I would have to endure. Our lands were overtaken by the Invaders from across the sea, they came from a country that had an icy grip on them. The day the first person stepped onto our shores what we didn't know at the time was they had brought they brought death with them. Massacres, plagues that they gave us as gifts. They stole our children and ripped away who they were, their culture. they stole our women saying they were trying to find them but we're raping them and selling them, they killed our men saying they were a threat. Forced their culture onto us, beat and killed anyone who would not comply.. What did we do to deserve this.... We helped them. Fed them... We have them a chance.
