Stand Off With The Japanese

I was standing on the deck of the Justice dressed in the command uniform of the Space Force. The uniform being tight but comfortable as it lightly draped over me. The design was based off of WW2 captains' uniforms but with more of sleek modern design. I was wearing a Trench Coat that was pitch black and glossy with white epaulets denoting me as a captain. On my head was a small beret that was dark blue and crisp.

We were on our way to confront the Japanese Government over their blatant disregard of my mother's orders, I figured this most likely had to do with Black Spectre and maybe the organisation known as 'The Hand', so i was on high alert. The crew on the ship reported on the situation of the Corps under my control, telling me they were ready for quick deployment and instant battle conditions. 

"Mam, we have a radio transmission from the Air Force saying that they have escorts coming with us for possible Air-to-Air conflict."

"Respond with and affirmation."

"Yes Mam."

I was sitting on a large pointy chair that looked almost like Palatine's chair from the movies when he was in the Death Star. It was slightly disconcerting but was something I could easily deal with if it was for mother. Beeping resounded as a holographic screen presented itself to me as multiple red dots alit on the holographic 2D representation of a map.

"We have enemy inbound Mam!"

"Send brief comms, if they do not respond instantly treat them as enemy targets and annihilate them."

"Yes mam!"

"Unidentified craft, identify yourself."

There was no response as the beeping became louder as the targets got closer.

"Unleash AA fire on targets, advise Air Force Forces that we have a potentially hostile Japan."

The crew didn't respond as they instantly jumped into action, several crew going over to VR headsets and placing them on their heads as the AA guns then turned on with them placed within the VR.

The next moment the air was ablaze with blue energy bolts as thousands of AA guns unloaded on the approaching enemy. The enemy craft were instantly vaporized, the pilots not even having a chance to activate their emergency parachutes.

"Causalities?"

"Five enemy pilots mam!"

"Tighten up the formation of our ships, confirm Air Force attachment to this fleet."

There was a slight bit of static before the response came back through.

"We are attached to you under the orders of Supreme Commander Kali. She gives you permission to use extreme force so long as it is concentrated on military and political buildings. Suspected Black Spectre interference with the Japanese Government."

"Understood Justice Wing, please stay above our vessels and swoop down in case of enemy missile launch."

"Understood Liberty Fleet."

The 20th generation fighters all swooped upwards and activated their cloaking field as they awaited enemy contacts.

"Sub Commander, go tell the marines to be on stand-by for instant action, i want them ready to drop as soon as we get close."

"Yes Captain!" He sprinted off and hit the teleport on the elevator.

"Lt. Sabrina, send a universal radio signal sending our intentions of maintaining peace, also say that anyone found shooting at us or interfering with us will be considered traitor to the human race and will be subject to Global Law and possible field sanction."

"Yes Captain!"

The transmissions continued for several minutes as we got closer to Tokyo. Instantly several bogies started to appear on sensors. I clicked on the fleet wide broadcasting channel and gave orders.

"All ships, man your battle stations, the Japanese Defence Force is declared traitor to Humanity. Destroy them with alacrity and precision."

I switched to a personal captain channel and began giving orders again.

"All captains are to keep casualties at a low and not to risk our people needlessly, please focus on destroying all newly raised military bases. If they are near civilian centres do not target them and launch troops as you feel necessary."

"""Yes Admiral!"""

Our ship merged into a tight arrow formation as we slowly descended into the visible sky above Tokyo. Some of our ships blaring out warning in Japanese to all of the civilians that this isn't a drill and that the Japanese Government has been parasitically invaded by foreign forces and had refused to cooperate with the Global Government.

There was mass panic and AA guns opening fire on our ships which we decided to respond with plasma lances directly to those emplacements. It seemed this would take a little bit for the civilians to clear out.

'This is so inefficient!'
