Some Things Never Change

The next morning Xilo ended up waking up with a woman's body in his face with her head right next to his with his arms wrapped around her body and that's when it hit him. "FUCK, Last night wasn't a dream?"Last night he thought he had dreamt of him doing some of the stupidest and embarrassing things he could of ever done in his life and it wasn't something he thought was even possible coming from him. But reality crushed him hard now that he'd woken up. "Was that really me?" He wriggled in shame slightly until he remembered he was holding Xelfia while she was still sleeping so he quickly stopped. But that didn't mean he could easily get over the fact that he had done such things. "I must have been way more exhausted and worried then I thought. Right...Right?" With that slight excuse to himself he brushed it off as a one time thing he really hoped to forget. Luckily he had reached his goal in the end though or it would have ended in pointless mental self damage.

"Xelfia's never going to let me live this down is she."

"Haa..."

With a slight sigh he thought of the days to come and the teasing the would come along with it from Xelfia. He was in for some unpleasant times. Though that strangely brought a smile to his face instead. Along with a slight headache of course to. Calming down he finally began to realize the situation was in. Xelfia was currently on top of him wrapped in his arms but unlike usual instead of panicking he kept on embracing her while slightly rubbing her back as she slept. "Maybe all her close contact has infected me." That didn't mean he was complaining though he enjoyed feeling her lay in his arms peacefully with her whole body weight pressed on him so he wasn't going to stop anytime soon. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end.

After another 30 minutes of silently staying like this and just enjoying the feeling of Xelfia on top of him she eventually started to stir about.

"Nice well it lasted."

"It was nice for me to."

"Geh."

Though another misfortune is that Xilo didn't learn from his last mistake and ended up once again whispering under his breath with Xelfia ending up hearing him in the process. "Ahh..I never learn do I?" With a slight mental slap to himself he refocused on the woman currently above him staring down at him.

"So you're awake?"

"I was awake before even you."

With a slight smile she slightly stuck her tongue out while teasing Xilo and although that made him embarrassed he wasn't as panicky as he was before.

"Seems like you enjoyed it to then."

With a slight counter of his own he slowly pushed her off himself as he started to get ready for the day to come. Meanwhile Xelfia ended up being the one more embarrassed herself in the end. "Cheeky Brat, Don't think I've forgotten last night." Though she'd leave him alone for now at least because she knew he was mostly suffering by himself after remembering it already which did bring a slight laugh out of her.When Xilo Heard her laugh he turned to look at her but all he got was a knowing look in response and quickly turned around himself afraid of what was to come. Thankfully nothing happened though. "Safe." with that he went to the bathroom on the right side of the inn room and started to get changed.

After a couple of minutes he finally changed into a simple t-shirt and jeans and after exiting he watched as Xelfia did the same as him beforehand and walked into the bathroom to change herself. With a little more waiting she finally left as well in similar attire to him. Unfortunately he neither had the money or knowledge about fashion do anything about the way they dressed but maybe that would change in the future. Especially since he found a need to look somewhat presentable compared to before.

"Ready to go?"

"Yep, not like I carry anything with me anyway."

"I suppose you're right."

But he did get something out of that response at least. "Maybe I should look for something to give her when I have the time? hmm..Well It can wait till then I suppose but it does sound interesting." Turning around they both exited their room and headed to the ground floor. Passing by the same innkeeper as yesterday in the same position as well they continued onwards out the door. Besides the same old empty streets nothing was different from yesterday. "Well except her I suppose." Recalling that girl from yesterday just brought all sorts of headaches to Xilo so he quickly moved on. Thankfully with no interruptions or the need to find people the walk to the library wasn't as long as it was yesterday for them. At most it was only 30 or so minutes.

*Nudge*

Turning to his side he noticed Xelfia standing next to him tugging his arm with one of the biggest grins he had seen on her yet. Seeing that he knew what was coming but instead of panicking like he so desperately wanted to he stood still and faced one of the greatest battles of his life head one. The Women standing in front of him that is.

"Sooooo...you ready? Huh, Huh? This is going to be so much fun you know? I bet you're going to love it, Hahahaha"

With a smile the sent shivers down his back he braced the impact known as embarrassment. But Unfortunately unlike last night where he did some unspeakable things he couldn't muster up the same courage to do so again. All he could do was stand there and receive his due retribution. "Ahhh...never again I say, Never again." If asked what the look on his face was it would probably be best described as blank and he was forcing it that way or else he would probably be trying to hide at the moment.

"Well don't forget this is a competition remember, So we'll see who gets the last laugh." With that he turned and marched forward into the world he loved like home. Xelfia after getting no reaction out of him for once was slightly disappointed but she quickly got serious and began following him as well. "He thinks he'll win? Ha we'll just see about that."
