Leading The Way

Xelfia stood by herself as a bunch of soldiers lined up in front of her. Crossing her arms, she made sure everyone was here. "That's all of them." Each different squad was given a hundred soldiers to work with. Once one group took care of their main objective they would go to help others. "I wish I could be with Xilo and everyone else." There was no here to talk to, so she just kept quiet as she ordered everyone around. Following the path they were given, Xelfia saw from the corner of her eye, Xilo jumping down into the sewers. They didn't want to make their plans too obvious so some were going underground.

"Good luck."

The mass sounds of footsteps behind her scared her a bit as Xelfia walked. "Landel won't go down easily." Xelfia just hoped they wouldn't get everyone here killed in the process of beating him. Arriving at a small little clan after ten or so minutes of walking, Xelfia raised her hand to stop the troops behind her. A tiny house was in front of them and their lights were off, almost like no one was home currently. "Hmm, where are they?" It might have been a small clan but it was quite active from the report she had received. For it to seem so empty was strange to Xelfia.

Smashing open the gate Xelfia took a few soldiers with her as she went up the front path. Once she reached the door she grabbed the door handle as her Astral Energy converted the entire building. "No one." There wasn't a single presence inside." Swinging open the door, Xelfia didn't trust her senses at that moment as the insides came into view. A set of stairs leading upstairs and a couple rooms on the side. Ordering the soldiers to go inside to check on them Xelfia stood on guard. "They were supposed to be here." Xelfia's strange feeling was transforming into a bad feeling as she looked around the outside for any signs of people.

"No one outside as well and I don't sense any one in the houses nearby as well. It's like this place was completely abandoned."

After a few more minutes a soldier came running outside after Xelfia finished checking around the place.

"Ma'am, There's no one inside. We've looked through the entire place and found nothing. It does seem like whoever was there left in a hurry though. Books were scattered on the ground along with a few lights that were still lit."

"Alright, get a few soldiers and send them to the other locations. We need to tell the others about this. The rest will continue searching around since we have no idea what happened to them, maybe some clues are left around. If they're in danger or waiting in ambush we'll deal with it."

"As you command."

He went running off as Xelfia swept back her red hair.

"I wonder if Xilo would get mad at me if I tore this whole building apart?"

A ball of water surfaced in her hand and started to spin around violently before dissolving into a small puddle. As much as she wanted to do it just to see, even she knew that was too extreme. While Xelfia failed to find anybody, Felli had arrived at her location with similar troubles as her. She had everyone look around and found no one close by. "Where are they?" Puzzled by that question Felli sent out some soldiers to tell Xilo and the others that. Space distorted around her body as her nerves rose. One person did manage to find success as Vandor walked through the front gate.

He was healed and ready to fight again thanks to Tearia.

"Alright, You know what we have to do Soliders. Get in there and capture every single one of them. If you kill them, I'll you!"

Shouting that out, his shirt ripped into pieces as he charged straight into an attack coming right at him. The fireball crashed into him without doing any damage as the Casters panicked and retreated. A crazed shout left his mouth as he sped up and grabbed onto the two who attacked him. Picking them both up, Vandor smashed their skulls together and knocked them out instantly. Tossing them aside he broke the door and kept going. There was no stopping Vandor once he got into this mode. Grabbing anyone he could get his hands on he heard the soldiers behind him flooding in to help as they quickly took the Clan they were at by storm.

They didn't stand a chance and were quickly all captured without any problems.

"Good work everyone, let's head to the next location to help the rest! Our first goal has been completed, one step closer to Victory!!!!"

Shouts reached his ears as he smiled in return and put a new shirt back on. Once everyone was tied up and safe Vandor put them in a cage to bring with him. Heading right for his next location he was planning to meet up with Yulrin. She was still a bit injured however she decided to take part tonight. He wanted to make sure she was okay and didn't push herself too hard. If she got hurt again the damage could be even more severe then last time. "She's trying too hard." Though he couldn't complain too much since he wasn't any different in that regard.

"Hopefully everyone else is doing alright as well."

Like that the night went on as more people began to fight and others left puzzled by the lack of people around.

Xilo went through the sewers in silence as they took out anyone on the way. "Landel's got guards down here as well." It was the more dangerous path but if they were careful they would be less likely to be detected in the long run. Once they made it back to above ground they would take out clan giving to them and move on to the next one.

"We're almost there."

Enjoy.
