Akira smiled at the men present. Unconsciously, he was releasing his killing intent, making them tremble subconsciously from fear...

"F-F-F-Fuck! It's just one guy! We Ca- *CRACKLE!*" The man dropped to the floor, his neck bent backwards, his spine threatening to pop from his flesh. However, the other men didn't see the preparatory move, not a single step...

Unbeknownst to the thugs, it was his sheer speed alone that caused this. Akira was simply this fast that the human eyes couldn't hope to capture him.

<gwofw>They were aware of that sound, the fifth person to get their lives stolen in an instant. But now, they were wondering if the monster ahead of them had brought its friends.

"Now, since we have some peace and quiet... Time to test this theory of mine..." Akira said aloud.

A wave of fear swept over the men. Some were even wetting themselves.

Akira, on the other hand, transformed into his partial state.

With a swift wave of the wrist, 12 different men were sliced in half. And shortly after, screams of terror echoed in the building, then silence...

'Of course I would need to be transformed to evolve. It sort of made sense, but it's a bit tedious...' Akira thought.

Each thug gave him a decent chunk of EXP, but he needed more. A lot more.

Without wasting anymore time, he cleared the building of all the thugs in less than the twinkling of an eye.

"The quest should be complete no-"

"And there it goes. I wonder what I'll get this time..."

Akira scanned through the building, taking his time to see where he truly was.

"It stinks here. Smells like corpses..." Akira said out loud.

'... These guys really are clever, a normal person wouldn't have expected them to be here... but I'm not normal am I? ' Akira thought to himself, scoffing and chuckling a bit.

[QUEST INITIATED]

"Huh? A quest, now? A little unexpected, but I'll take it..."

A little surprised, he checked his notifications

Akira flashed the blood off of his hands, the iron like smell didn't pan out too well for him. Especially with how potent his old factory senses were.

'Urgghhh... Disgusting!... I've smelt dog shit better than this.' Inugami scoffed. He quickly de-transformed, now looking at his EXP value for his evolution to take his mind of the putrid smell.

'A little over 16000, not bad. I still have a shit more to go though...' Akira thought. He quickly went to check the rewards he received from the quest.

Akira took his time to read the description of all of his rewards.

"Did the description just have a smiley face on the second... What the hell is going on here, and a modified ability? " Akira said to himself. This was, of...

He wasn't aware that the system could do that, and even weirder. The system even modified an ability? Is this some sort of glitch? Or was this one on purpose?

'This is a little off-putting... I'll need to take note of this...' Akira thought.

Still, it was not bad at all, considering his luck, he really lucked out...

"Wait... Isn't that bad since I'm... Oh shit..." Akira said to himself. A little downtrodden.

Even though it wasn't entirely true, other quests he received only gave him trash items, but this was his 3 decent items back to back. They were balanced. Definitely as overpowered as his 'six-eyes', which is understandably so, since it was a T-7 ability. But he was happy with these rewards.

The thing was, when he got decent things, only bad things would follow, sometimes it would take days, weeks, months, or years, but it happens, and he hoped it would be in the far, far latter...

'I need to leave soon, but I need to pay Haguro a brief visit first. The bastard should be here somewhere. The cameras down here could be erased later,' Akira planned. He quickly made his way to the room's present...

Until... He found it, or him.

"So this is where you were..." Akira said.

Haguro's body could be seen on a bed in a comatose state. The sound of the I.V bag resonated with Akira's ears...

"*tsk* I almost feel bad for putting you in this state... 𝘼𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩..." Akira said.

In the next second, Akira partially transformed his hand into a piercing gesture...

But before he could finish Haguro's life, but... He stopped himself.

His veins bulged from his left arm, his jaw clenched to the extreme, with pure anger, ready to do the deed, to end this waste of a human being...

"No... You aren't getting off that easily..." Akira said, calming himself down.

'I'll leave you a parting gift when you wake up...' Akira said, smiling beneath his mask. He then struck Haguro in the same place where he did initially. He made it so he would wake up tomorrow.

"I'll see you around, Haguro..." Akira said, walking away.
