It wasn't just those with lingering injuries Gus healed. He also approached those who had any mental impediment, the blind, the deaf, the mute, those with palsy, those with seizures, and eventually even those with insomnia or plagued with nightmares. People began to seek him out where before they avoided him. He couldn't heal them all, as some simply had maladies of the body which Gus suspected only I could find out, and he told them so. There were also those who were simply so traumatized by what had happened, or other things in their past, that it wasn't a matter of fixing the structure of their minds, but rather giving them direction into how they needed to change their way of thinking and living. Gus really struggled at the last part. He wasn't the most delicate of people. On his best days he was blunt and short. On his worse he was just downright mean.
