The horses followed the same route when they came. However, when they reached the river and wanted to cross the shallow part, a few uprooted trees and boulders blocked their path.
"What could have happened here?" Vasquez asked as he surveyed the surrounding areas when their horses stopped. "It did not seem like this was caused by animals fighting."
"No. The trees were intentionally uprooted and placed there." Marx observed. It will take a long time for them to clear the trees.
Amaya suddenly thought of the werewolf and shuddered.
"Let's follow downstream and look for a safe place to cross." Marx clamped his legs on Apollo's body. Apollo seemed reluctant but knowing that there was no way to cross he started marching at the bank of the river following the current.
