Chapter 85 - Magic is in the mystery

Bob arrived at the Toy House, but when he came there were no toys in sight. Instead, there were men and women standing outside.

'What's going on?'

Bob had no idea what happened to Sugar right now, so he did not know that her power over these people vanished.

"Why do they look so happy?"

Luna asked Bob.

Bob shrugged his shoulders.

"No idea, let's find out."

Bob said as he strolled over to the crowd of people.

"Hey, what's going on over here?"

The crowd looked at Bob for a minute before some of them smiled.

"Hey, what do you see? Human or toy?"

One man asked Bob as he spun around showing off his body.

"Human."

Bob replied.

"Ha! Finally freedom! The curse is lifted!"

They started to cheer loudly as they jumped up and down.

It didn't take long before Bob connected the dots and understood that something happened to Sugar. These people in front of him were Toys under her control, but now that she was unconscious or something else happened to her, her power vanished. Giving these people control over their body once more and turning back into humans.

Bob expected Ron to take a bit longer to find her, but it didn't take him that long at all.

Bob wasn't even underestimating Ron's abilities. Maybe Doflamingo and his crew weren't on the same level as Bob's crew.

Bob grinned as he thought of something.

"I say, you were all toys before right?"

Bob asked.

The crowd nodded their head.

"What if I tell you that there's a way to be free forever. Will you listen?"

"Hmm, tempting. What do you guys say?"

"I'll agree if he takes off his mask."

Bob shook his head.

"Haven't you heard that the magic is in the mystery? Besides, who do you think is the one that freed you from your curse?"

Hearing Bob the people were stunned.

"How can we believe what you say? You can easily be claiming to have done this, but you've actually done nothing."

"Does this look like the face of a liar?"

Bob asked as he pointed towards his face.

"Yes!"

Two people said in unison.

Bob laughed.

"Just listen to me. I plan on taking down the Donquixote family, and putting Riku back on the throne. All you need to do is tell me where he is."

The crowd of people started whispering amongst themselves.

After discussing for two minutes, they finally came to a decision.

"Alright, but you have to tell us how you alone are going to take down their family. It'll be impossible to do alone."

"That's simple. I'm not alone, i'm never alone."

"That doesn't help us out…"

Bob didn't say anything else and the people seeing him stay silent sighed.

"Riku said he was going to the colosseum. That's the last thing he told us."

"Why would he go there?"

"There's a competition going on for a devil fruit. The Donquixote family found it and decided that this would be a good idea for entertainment."

One person said.

"Huh? What kind of devil fruit is it?"

Bob was honestly curious. In the story he had Ace's devil fruit, but Ace wasn't dead. So whose devil fruit did Doflamingo get? Or was it some random one?

"Do you know the story of Quicksword Bob? How he defeated Admiral Akainu?"

Bob nodded his head.

"It's his devil fruit!"

"But that's not all! The marines aren't just letting this go, they've also sent some to participate in the competition in hopes of retrieving the fruit."

Bob understood.

There was no way the marines would let Akainu's devil fruit fall into the hands of pirates or anyone else. Bob was curious to see who they sent to retrieve it.

Bob talked to the people for a bit longer before he left.

John was already at the colosseum, so there was no real need for him to head there. Instead Bob had another idea in his head.

Ten minutes went by and all across Dressrosa Bob appeared on all the broadcasting screens.

"They say one person can't make a difference, but what if you weren't alone? The Donquixote family has taken everything from you, and you stand there without doing anything about it. Rise up and claim back your homeland! Rise up and put your king back on the throne!

Hunt down these individuals to help end the Donquixote family's rule."
