Wei Ying took out her phone and sent Tian Xue a message which was quickly replied to.

The next time Yu Huateng passed by, Wei Ying stopped him, "Big Brother Teng, this is the eleventh time you passed by here. Are you looking for something? Tell me and I will help you."

Yu Huateng threaded a hand through his hair. His face was twisted and his lips pressed in a tight line, "It's nothing important, Yu'er. Don't worry about it."

Wei Ying pursed her lips and looked at Yu Huateng with a wronged expression.

Yu Huateng sighed and stroked her hair before pinching her cheek lightly, "Actually, it's important. I am looking for Gu Shenyi."

"Gu Shenyi?" Wei Ying tilted her head.

"The maid you found stealing information from my room."

"Why are you looking for her?" Wei Ying frowned and looked quizzically at Yu Huateng.

"I found something missing from my room. I suspect she is the one who stole it. I can't find her anywhere in the house."

Wei Ying stood up, "In this case, I must help you, Big Brother Teng. What did you lose?"

"The watch you gave me last time." Yu Huateng lied easily.

Wei Ying was impressed by his ability to bullshit with a straight face. Even in the apocalypse, there were few people that could reach this male lead's acting skills.

"Then Big Brother Teng, I will search in your room again since I am the one who takes care of it. I will also assign some servants to look around the house."

Yu Huateng looked at Wei Ying gently, "Thank you, Yu'er. You are really my lucky star."

Wei Ying smiled sweetly, "Don't mention it, Big Brother Teng. It's what I should do."

Wei Ying turned around. Reaching Yu Huateng's room, Wei Ying found Tian Xue waiting for her with a small sachet.

"Go search the garden," Wei Ying took the sachet.

"Yes, Miss Shi."

Wei Ying took out the hidden cameras and put them in negligeable places around the room and the closet.

After finishing, Wei Ying went downstairs.

"Miss Shi, Gu Shenyi is indeed in the garden. She is with Housekeeper Huai's son." Tian Xue approached Wei Ying and whispered. After looking around, she lowered her voice even more, "It looks like something is about to happen."

Wei Ying paused and raised her eyebrows in interest. The female lead was really lucky. Always surrounded by admirers who took care of her in her times of needs.

"Are you sure?"

"I am sure, I saw it with my own two eyes." Tian Xue nodded firmly.

"Very good," Wei Ying walked towards Yu Huateng who was again passing by the living room in search of his mistress. Seeing him, Wei Ying breathed a sigh of relief and took his hand and looked at him lovingly, "Big Brother Teng, I found that maid. She's in the garden."

Yu Huateng's eyes brightened, and he hastily turned around, throwing Wei Ying's hand by the way, "Let's go find her."

Wei Ying curled her lips in contempt. She would like to see Yu Huateng's reaction when he sees Gu Shenyi with Huai Longwei.

Gu Shenyi let out a loud cry. "Longwei, are you alright?" Gu Shenyi asked Huai Longwei who fell on his side and held his bleeding nose.

Gu Shenyi looked at Yu Huateng accusingly, "Why did you hit him? Why are you being so fierce? If you have a problem then come at me, why are you hitting an innocent party?"

Wei Ying stood at the side with a faint look. If her memory served her right, Gu Shenyi just met Huai Longwei. How could she already call him by his first name?

Wei Ying would die and know where Gu Shenyi got the confidence to act so high and mighty in front of Yu Huateng. After all, wasn't she just a mistress x spy sent by someone else to steal business secrets and apparently take revenge by the way?

Yu Huateng sneered with red eyes, "This is my house, and he is one of my staff. Of course, I can do whatever I want with him. Why, do you feel like you can control me now?"

Gu Shenyi bit her lip and didn't answer.

Huai Longwei held his nose and looked at Gu Shenyi soothingly, "I'm fine, don't worry about me."

Huai Longwei looked at Yu Huateng then at his father who just came and lowered his head. He felt ashamed of being treated in such a way in front of the woman he liked. What would she think of him now? Would she think he is incompetent and as a consequence be turned off?

"Young Master, please forgive my son. I will be sure to teach him a lesson on your behalf." Housekeeper Huai looked in distress at his son before glaring fiercely at Gu Shenyi.

This woman not only tried seducing his young master, she also turned and reached her claws to his son. How dare she jeopardize his son's future position?

Yu Huateng still had a sneer on his face, "No, he is fired. I don't want to see his face anymore in this house."

"Please don't fire him," Gu Shenyi hastily pleaded for Huai Longwei.

"Then I will fire you in his stead," Yu Huateng roared. How dare this woman protect another man in front of him. Did she forget that she was his. His woman, she was. How can she betray him like this?

"Yes, you should fire me," Gu Shenyi breathed a sigh of relief and accepted Yu Huateng's sentence. "The one you have a problem with is me so you should come at me."

Huai Longwei raised his head sharply and looked at Gu Shenyi's small back in front of him. She was protecting him? How can such a petite body have all this courage?

With firm eyes, Huai Longwei stood up and put his hand on Gu Shenyi's shoulder before pushing her behind him. "I am the one who is wrong. I should be fired. Young master, please don't blame Shenyi, she is innocent."

Wei Ying watched the farce from the side with a strange face. Did she miss something or were these people crazy? What were they talking about exactly? Was Gu Shenyi being Yu Huateng's mistress some kind of open secret?

Wei Ying scratched her chin and chose to fall silent. Anyway, she didn't have the same brain circuits as those people so there is no need to try to understand too much. Being dumb is also good sometimes.

Yu Huateng laughed angrily, "Alright, then you are fired. Get out of my face this instant."

"Please don't," Gu Shenyi cried, "Yu Huateng, please don't be so cruel. I am the one you have a problem with. Longwei is innocent."

"Don't let me repeat my words," Yu Huateng's face hardened as he watched Gu Shenyi's crying face. His heart hurt. How can this woman betray him not only once but twice? And why did he keep giving her second chances? Why?

Seeing everyone fall silent, Wei Ying chimed from the side, "Big Brother Teng, what about the watch she stole? We should ask her where it is."

Yu Huateng frowned, a little annoyed. Why was Shi Yuxi so inconsiderate? Couldn't she read the situation "I will question her later."

Wei Ying twisted her lips and didn't reply.

After the farce calmed down strangely, Wei Ying went to her room and slept.
