CHAPTER 19: SWORD OF ERIK

After the demonoid defeat, a sudden relief struck to Erik's head and his consciousness faded. None of the two who with him explained and run fast to rescue Erik. After that incident neither of the two can give a proper report to the authority and leave unsolved, it became a mystery and start a rumor, rumor that someone powerful visit in the town and got rid the demonoid.

Demonoid can only defeat by a B rank team adventurer or elite student on a top school and A rank adventurer. At some point Harrison began to search to the origin of Erik.

"He can't be a normal kid, what do you think?" He ask hunsley.

"We don't know where to start, he probably don't remember what happened yesterday, and also

we shouldn't interfere his personal life. We should just thank him after saving us" Hunsley said.

"Did you report this to the authority?"

"No, even if I did the authority wouldn't believe it."

One week after the incident, Erik woke up and feels different. He stares his hand and reminds what he did, Erik is so confused that he scared in what happened to his body. Harrison open his room and saw Erik stare to his and look to his face, Harrison saw a face that scared of what happened to his self.

Harrison bit is lips and give a fake smile and ask if he is okay, feeling dense so that he wouldn't conscious

of what he feel.

"Are you okay?" Harrison ask.

"Not sure, I remember that someone whisper to me and ask if I want a power, that time when I don't have think twice my decision, I guess I don't have choice and accept it and suddenly a puwersa just

flowing to my body like I borrow or something like that."

Harrrison confused what he hear and ask about it like

" what happened after that"

"I don't know, when I suddenly felt it is okay I felt

strange and sleepy and whisper again that-"

"Hmm, YOU ARE NOT READY YET"

"Or something like that"

Harrison thought that there is nothing person beside us in that place, except if it's his imagination.

"don't worry about it, let's just focus about how you recover"

" but I'm already recovered"

"yeah you recove-, wait what?"

"I said I'm already recovered"

" what kind of bullsh- woooooow the heck is wrong with your body man?"

"I don't know it feels weird already, somehow I feel strange"

Harrison grab a cross and he aim and show to Erik like he gonna purify him.

" hey hey hey it is me. You nuts!" Erik startled and said to stop teasing

Harrison laughed and then Erik laughed. It was this moment they feel normal and have a proper rest.

After that day hunsley visit them and said that they really good job but suddenly Erik's pocket glow and they have a bit shock.

"Not again, what is going on Erik" hunsley ask

" I think it's a core, the demonoid core" Harrison replied.

"wow realy? Hehe lucky.... Wait they have a core"

" it is strangely rare, ive seen it in book but this is a first time."

According to the book, demonoid have no core except it is strongly enough to hold it is own body.

Meaning that creature before demonoid is strong enough to have a core, it is rare that every auction

10000 thousand gold.

" THOUSAND GOLD!!!!!! I can eat chicken meat for the rest of my life" Erik stare at the ceiling and

starting to drool while saying this.

" what the hell is saying? Is he dumb?"

While the situation became more lively they started to argued how they gonna do the core.

Both hunsley and Erik show a disgusting face and argued that is last option we can think.

After that

moment, the sword of Erik suddenly to their faces and glow, where the demonoid core approach to the

sword and fused. A sudden fused that three of them didn't make a move. After they fused the sword

glow and slowly became a normal basic handle.

Wellhonestly, erik didn't know what face his going to appear and shout like a crazy puppy

"AHHHHHHH!!!! MY CHICKEN MEAT, YOU LITTLE SHI-"

" CALM DOWN"

After that they calmed starting to think they should sleep while being depressed after what happed to

the core.

They all come to bed and tried to sleep, hunsley and Harrison also go their rooms to sleep, erik thinking

how he get stronger and also thinking about his chicken meat. While thinking the sword of erik light

again and began to bright like a sun and a number began to show up in his sword,

" w-w-w-w-what is g-g-going here" erik scared and stand on the bed while hunsley and Harrison noticed

it.

They started running to erik's room and see what happen. The sword began to reformed like

dissemble and the bright light began to fade. The three shock of what they see.

" A spear"

The three are stare at each other and while confusing Harrison step back and thinking what is going on

like, he don't know what is happening to Erik, thinking that Erik might be a different species . should I say

species or he is different race. This really exaggerating when I think that, Harrison stares at Erik like his

kind of monster, maybe he is a royal blood, it should be the explanation right now. Hunsley also thinking

that Erik might be have royal blood and he stare to Harrison and Harrison stare back and thinking they

should secretly investigate erik past.
