Derfel was the first Dwarf to reach Rika and join the Elven front against Gnomes. He was one of the greatest blacksmiths to ever live on Nehan, so he had a treasure that helped him reach Rika this fast. 

Derfel stood there stunned when he reached the location of the war. The land became red due to the blood of Gnomes and Elves. He had no interest in fighting against the Gnome soldiers.
