Purely Mud

Mudwings are among one of the most loyal and family centered dragons in all of the kingdoms, as Bigwings will go to the end of the world to protect their sibs. But when a Bigwing named Crane dies after seeing the miserable death of her sibs during an icewing invasion of their little town, how will Crane react to getting a second chance- At the slight inconvience of turning human and losing most of her memories? And who the hell is this guy trying to kill my family? Do you not have basic manners?! RAWR!! Note this is my first time writing, so please point out any spelling or grammar mistakes i make and i will try to fix them. I couldn't get the idea of Harry having a twin- That during Voldemort's attack just straight up takes one glance at him and then bites ankles. Very hard.

Chapter 1

The sky is covered in dark clouds and all Crane could hear was her own heavy breathing. She could feel her limbs getting heavier as she dragged her bleeding body over to a pair of mudwings, their scales, much like hers, were cracked and torn with large frostbitten areas scattered around.

Crane laid down next to the two bodies and looked over at the horizon, the sun hiding behind some once lush trees- Now the vibrant green leaves are either frozen or floating in the pools of red and blue blood that were strewn about.

Crane knew even if mudwing soldiers managed to finf the wreakage of the small town, she would be long dead by then. Not to mention her little brothers- She could already feel the breath vanishing from Silt and Murk, all she could do was rest her claws on their wings and comfort them to sleep. Then Crane would be able to drift away herself.

She knew that she had done her best at the time, but she wished her best could have protected her family. Crane slowly closed her eyes wishing that she could try again, and maybe keep her family if she did get another chance. She felt her mind go blank as she smiled at the thought, chuckling in self-depreciation
