Work From Home

The following morning Mason woke up to find himself wrapped in a blanket and a pillow underneath his head. He remembered holding Ava in his arms and toying with her hair and inhaling her smell as he fell asleep. She must have placed the pillow under his head and covered him with the blanket. He smiled at her thoughtfulness.

He sat up on the sofa and gathered up the pillow along with the blanket. As he stretched his body, he realized he felt relaxed.

Even if he had slept on the couch, he felt well rested than he had, in a long while and he had Ava to thank for that. He stood up and went to his bedroom, and found Theresa there, making his bed.

"Good morning Mr. Taylor," Theresa greeted him.

"Good morning, Theresa."
