Team Up

Their party finally started to hurry and set off.

Ran Dan Arthur boarded the horse carriage that Four pointed out.

Four also followed behind him, but as he stepped up his aura changed and his icy horns reappeared.

Everest takes over Four's consciousness.

The three of them sat down and the horse carriage began to move.

At first Ran and Arthur were a little unfamiliar with the speed of the horse carriage but over time they were able to adapt.

Ran and Arthur felt the difference in Four but said nothing.

"So, can we start?" Everest by using Four's body spoke.

"What?" Arthur asked.

"Didn't I tell you before, I need information from you" Everest continued.

Ran and Arthur look uncomfortable with Four's behavior.

"First, what really happened at Astechic?" Everest asked the first question.

Ran and Arthur explained everything they knew to Everest. and Everest listened intently.

"And somehow we both came to this place suddenly" Arthur explained.

Everest smiled and returned his consciousness to Four.

A few days passed, the party finally arrived at the Astechic border.

Four gets off the horse carriage and has to walk to the Astechic kingdom as well as Ran and Arthur who do not know the fall of Astechic.

The three of them set off together until they arrived at the Astechic kingdom.

Ran and Arthur were very surprised to see the Astechic kingdom which had been ruled by the devil.

" W.. what is this? Were we defeated in the end? " Ran couldn't believe the sight in front of her.

Right in the center of the city many demons were passing by and some humans seemed to be slaves.

"This is not the time for you to mourn defeat." Four took off his robes and smiled at them both.

The silver hair and moon eyes looked very cold.

"Join me and you might be able to reclaim your territory." Four held out his hand.

"Maybe not in the near future, but I can guarantee you will get it back" Four continued.

"Why? Shouldn't you be happy that Astechic is in the hands of you demons?" Arthur put on an angry face.

So is Ranmaru.

"Maybe our goals are different, but the path we walk is the same, you want territory for humans right" Four assured Arthur and Ranmaru.

"How?, Astechic is now ruled by the demon king, what can the three of us do" Ranmaru.

Four smiled again, literally a statement that he accepted Four's offer.

"We just need to become stronger than the demon lord" Four confidently said to the two of them.

"If you guys come with me, it will be easier for you to get stronger" Four added.

Ran and Arthur again had no other choice but to go with Four. they have nowhere to return to.

That statement is not a random offer. Everest tells Four that the one who killed off his precious people was the demon king of the insect kingdom.

And because of that Four saw Ran and Arthur's goal in line with his goal of destroying the insect kingdom.

This is Four's first step towards becoming the strongest.

" Lith , Fa , Airi I will destroy them " In Four 's heart .

Meanwhile in the western vicinity of the Abyss kingdom area.

Seen Chrono and Albert walking together.

"It's been a few days after we walked, but I still don't see any sign of life" Chrono walked over and spoke to Albert.

"We're in a place that shouldn't be stepped on with human feet." Albert sweated.

Albert realized that they were not in Astechic but in the territory of the demons.

Suddenly the two of them were attacked by a group of demons.

Albert and Chrono reflexively dodged and retreated backwards.

"Level three" Albert told Chrono.

A total of six tier three demons ambushed them. Albert who had not recovered and Chrono who couldn't use one of his arms had to face these demons.

"You... Human? How did humans get to this place?" One of the demons that looked like their leader spoke.

"Well, it's not like I care"

"How dare you set foot on my land" continued the demon.

Albert and Chrono fell silent and prepared for the next attack.

" Mister Ilbi! They have nothing of value " his men informed.

"What are you saying, of course they have something of value" Ilbi jumped at Albert.

"Soul crystals from humans are quite valuable, so kill them" in midair. Ilbi threw her fist at Albert.

"Hey don't die" Albert shouted at Chrono and held ilbi's punch with his left hand then gathered mana in his right hand and dealt a punch right in ilbi's face.

While Chrono backed away and took a tree branch that he used as a stick.

Chrono and Albert really beat all six of them.

"ho.. how can humans defeat demons" Ilbi slowly lost consciousness.

Chrono was about to kill him but was stopped by Albert.

"Don't kill him just yet, he can be a good source of information." Albert tied Ilbi's hands with mana projection.

"We have to go back, so we need a lot of information" continued Albert.
