The Search.

*Knock*Knock*

A man in his fifties walked towards the door to open it, he made sure to check who it was through the little screen that was placed by the door.

"Ohh Ted, it's you, why do you have to knock? It isn't locked."

The door opened and Ted shifted back, making way for the two men that moved to his front, one of them bringing out an ID card from the inner pocket of his jacket.

"Hilldale Investigation Bureau..." The man paused, as he kept his ID back and brought out a sheet of paper.

"We have a search warrant to search and seize anything prior to the Investigation going on now, and we believe the accused, Miller Denzel might be hidden in your house."

The look on the man, Ted's house Butler changed.

"A minute." The butler, Butler Austin went in and after about three minutes, he was back with a lady that looked very classy in style. She was Ted's mother, Dalton Nora.

"So Sirs what do you need?" Mrs. Nora asked, giving the men a curious look, they brought out their ID and the paper and explained it all to her.

"Ohh, that's all you need? You may come in, I assure you my home is clean, but if you feel you should waste your time, you may search all you want."

Ted stood outside, he didn't look at his mother, he hoped she hadn't known about Denzel because, if she did, he had a lot of explanation to do, and that was a drag.

The men got in, and two other men followed, and they separated to search different corners of the house. They searched all round the floor and when they saw they had nothing there, they moved up to the first floor. The first floor was filled with books arranged in different categories and when they were done on that floor, they moved to the second floor.

When they finally Searched the second floor, the men moved back down, preparing to leave.

"Wait a minute." The man that led the search, Lucas Jane's partner, Mateo Mason stopped the rest and he moved round the ground floor again, he felt something was off and while he did, he entered a room that seemed sort of empty, by the way it looked, it wasn't long they had gone there.

'Shit!' Ted said when he saw the man patrolling the room that had the button to the elevator, immediately he saw him, he took out his phone and he sent Denzel a text.

-Where are you?-

~I am down, my leg felt a lot better so I thought I should come up and take a little walk.~

-Dumbass!!!!-

Denzel who was clueless looked at the text and wondered what was wrong, he was already in the elevator and when the elevator took off, another text came in, and the moment he saw it, he looked up at the elevator and saw it was already on the second floor to the ground and he immediately change the button he pressed from 3 to 2.

Soon the door opened and Denzel got into the room the door led him to. Immediately Denzel got into the room, he was shocked, at the amount of books he saw, he never saw that much before. He moved round each book stack and saw how it was arranged

'Whoever arranged these must really have lots of time' Denzel thought as he moved round.

Upstairs, when the man saw he didn't find anything suspicious, he left the room and ordered them leave the place, Agent Mason looked back once more and walked out, when he just couldn't get what he needed, he felt was wrong.

"They've left." Mrs. Nora said, looking outside the window and the next thing she heard was a sigh of relief from Ted. She turned to him.

"Ted..."

"Yes mum?" Ted looked at his mother and answered her.

"Nevermind, just go to your base."

Ted stood up, walked into the room the man searched last, and he pressed the button. In a second, the door opened.

"Huh? Denzel isn't far away then, if this could get here this fast."

Ted got into the elevator and pressed the first button, he had no choice than to check all floors one after the other.

It wasn't long before the elevator door opened and Ted got into the room, then he noticed someone hide.

'Huh? Is that Denzel?', Ted thought and moved closer, wondering who that might be, but he had it in mind that it was most likely going to be Denzel.

"Who's there?"

Denzel showed up after he realized that it was just Ted and no one else, his upper part of his body had already transformed into his BEAST form, and Ted couldn't recognize that immediately.

"Who are you?" Ted moved back little by little, he was afraid that there might have really been an intruder there.

"Ted, it's me, Denzel, I just transformed into my eagle form incase it was someone else." Denzel transformed back slowly, and he picked up his ripped shirt from the ground.

"Ohh Denzel, it's just you." Ted's face still looked a little furious from the shock earlier.

"That's your beast form? It irks me..."

"It wasn't meant to be pleasing on a norm, dumbass"

"What? Dumb.. dumb.. are you referring to me?"

Ted noticed the look in Denzel's face, he wasn't in any mood to joke around. He kind of missed Denzel's childish nature, since that was all they saw of him, now that Denzel got a lot more matured, it was boring.

'I guess I shouldn't just hate Denzel, he really did nothing wrong.' Ted thought and turned back, he needed to leave the room, naturally he wasn't.meant to be there.

"I guess you were really bored there, just being stacked with me bots..."

"Yeah, you bet, I kept on calling on Kayden, he didn't even flinch, so I slept off." Denzel followed him at his back.

"By the way, Ted, what's with all these books? They are almost a million here, for a house's library, how many does your dad's work place have?"

"Humph, over 300 Million books, the one's here are just few that he keeps."

"Heh! that's quite much.. Still don't understand why you said you are the dumbest person alive."

"Forget it pal, let's go and chill a little."

The two entered back into the elevator.

Later that night..

FERRIS BLOCK, HILLDALE...

"Mr Patrick, open up, we are from the Hilldale Investigation Bureau, we are here for your testimony."

The men recieved no response and after calling out his name for about 10 minutes, they broke in.

The men were shocked, as they saw blood all over, they saw a writing on the wall, and it was illustrated with blood.

It said, "You can never get me! M.D"

"Miller Denzel! that fucker!!"
