'Indeed, using Naruto was one of the best methods toward leashing the fourth Hokage so that he couldn't just teleport away… but there were still risks.' - Looking at Itachi, 'it' slowly nodded.
"We will use Naruto. However, implementing only one plan is… inefficient. Given that what we hope to obtain is of critical value to the future… I believe even wasting a pair of eyes is more than worth it." – 'it' explained as it looked at Itachi.
Orochimaru's eyes narrowed as he smiled.
"Kukuku… by 'wasting' do you happen to mean… putting some theories finally to test? Kukuku, complete control over reality will be… thrilling.. to say the least." – Orochimaru commented as he almost drooled at the mere idea of using the Uchiha ninjutsu, Izanagi.
Itachi merely shook his head as he took a step closer.
"Nevertheless, it would be best to not expect unlimited possibilities from Izanagi. There are most certainly limits to it… and it would be best if we do not discover them with the fourth as our opponent." – Itachi cautioned as 'it' nodded.
"Yes… we will keep it as simple as possible to maximize the odds of success as well as the odds of it not backfiring on us."
"… and it still won't be easy. Given that twisting reality to take another's life might not be in the cards." – Orochimaru theorized as his excitement started to diminish.
'Kei' turned to look at him.
"Yes, otherwise Danzo wouldn't have simply sitten there and taken it. And given our inability to freely experiment with it…"
"Kukuku… and why can't we simply experiment as we wish? We certainly have no lack of 'resources'. And it's not like morality has ever held you back either?"
"There is a cause and effect for everything, and while I certainly couldn't care less if the whole world burned because I decided to exhale in the wrong direction… I do care if I end up burning together with it as a result. Blade and chakra might not pose much of a threat to me, but resistance towards being flickered out of existence certainly isn't something I have quite yet found a way to increase." - Kei spoke calmly as he made his way to stand in front of Orochimaru. –
His tone slowly increased with each word as he stood almost a full meter taller than Orochimaru in his armored form, his Sharingan rotating threateningly as 'Kei' looked at him.
"There exists so much more out there, so much more to see… to experience… to CONSUME… for me to end up disappearing because of some childish impatience. With all of that said though, if all else fails… we will try our hand at bending reality so that we get the results we are looking for."
"Kukuku… even so, giving the Fourth Hokage the reasonable doubt that he has reflexes rivaling our dear Itachi without even a Sharingan, let alone a Mangekyou one… a man capable of reacting to and defending himself from a lightning strike, a.k.a Sasuke's Kirin with the use of Susanoo… I have no doubt in my mind as well as in my calculations that the Fourth Hokage will be able to evade any attack once he is restored to life. DO NOT FORGET… this is not the same Minato we've once bested. Four years for a shinobi might as well be another lifetime. He will be the Legendary Fourth Hokage in his prime and can quite probably teleport on instinct to a safe location he has unquestionably already marked. Should he set himself free, his mind, fuinjutsu, as well as teleportation will make him a much more fearsome enemy than what's left of this deadbeat generation that can only throw and take punches until one falls. We already have one individual who sealed a god… proving that the Fourth Hokage can do the same should not be in our bucket list… but… kukuku… it'll be interesting nonetheless." – Orochimmaru explained in a rare display of caution.
The knowledge he had gained access to here, had allowed him to see how much more there was out there to learn, how much more he needed to preserve this immortality he had been granted. And for all of this, there was no length to the measures he would take to prevent an early demise.
"While your caution is appreciated, and we do need to plan accordingly to this information… just because you know a lot, doesn't mean you know everything. The flash of light from a lightning travels at 670,000,000 miles per hour, something that Itachi, as a human, no matter his condition, would never be able to defend against." – 'Kei' said as he turned to Itachi.
"But he did." – Orochimaru said as an image of Itachi surviving the Kirin appeared floating beside him.
As 'Kei' was about to speak, another voice appeared in the room.
"No, he didn't. He defended against the lightning, the electric discharge… which in comparison, travels at 270,000 miles per hour or 75 miles per second. Itachi defended against something traveling at 75 miles per second, something that is quite inside the realm of possibilities for legendary shinobi. It is a world of difference… but not so much to the human eye which might mistake it as reacting at the speed of light. Given the average distance of natural cumulonimbus clouds, somewhere between 0.62 and 1.24 miles, if in this case, it was at a height of about 1 mile up in the sky, that would give Itachi all of about 0.013 seconds to summon Susanoo. Farfetched.. yes, impossible… far from it." – Kuro, who had suddenly walked into the room, slowly explained the situation with a smug look on his face.
"And I don't quite remember you being capable enough to pass a basic physics exam in school, but now you appear to know the speed of light?" – Itachi questioned from the side as he glanced at the new arrival.
Kuro blushed as he looked away from Itachi and scratched the back of his head.
"… I … I might have researched it a bit… when some things were just blown out of proportion… I mean, don't take it the wrong way, I have mad respect for you… but.. not just perceiving but putting a defense at something moving at the speed of light… c'mon. Now, something moving at 75 miles/second, I can buy that… to a point." – Itachi merely observed the easy-going teenager that was suddenly flickered away.
"Well, there you have it. Now, we'll use Naruto, 'Kushina' as well as any seal we can think of to provide us that singular moment we need to kill the Fourth Hokage… start brainstorming, we execute as soon as the plan is ready."
