"...I might die if I summon anymore, right?" His voice showed extreme seriousness.

"I understand. But, I do have to summon more. How can I form contracts then? Is there some other way?" 

~As much as I'm aware of, there's no other way. But, you can strengthen your soul by growing stronger. Then it might be possible for you to form more contracts.~

"Heh, so it comes down to getting stronger afterall..." Alexis let out a small chuckle, letting the seriousness in the air fade away.

"Fine, I will get stronger then." Alexis knew that getting stronger didn't mean having more skills. Of course, he can be stronger than anyone by having all kinds of skills, but appearing stronger and being stronger are different.

"Being stronger" here means not to have a strong skill set, but instead being stronger from the very roots of your origin. If Alexis wants to have a strong soul, he needs to be stronger from the very basis of his existence.

"I assume just having stronger stats too won't make me strong enough?" He asked Elaine, letting out a sigh.

Alexis didn't waste even a single second, he immediately created [Soul Reaper].

Obviously the quest wasn't going to be something so simple that Alexis could complete it anytime he want. If so, it won't even qualify as a quest. Alexis already knew this, he just didn't know how exactly would this be difficult for him. Now he knows that too.

"Elaine, appear before me."

Immediately a fire vortex formed in the middle of the room, and Elaine stepped out of it.
