Chapter 16: Meeting

I'm not sure how many floors this place has in total cause I don't want to bother myself counting but my room is among the top floors.

Looking at the door with a number 15 engraved in gold I thought to myself 'Oh right! I still have those two guys to deal with.' Realizing I have something to do until school officially starts, I placed my hand on the door handle and walked in.

What greeted my inside were two king sized beds placed directly in front of the door with one big stand placed between them and one huge window behind them, encompassing nearly the entire wall. The room itself was huge enough to fit at least two trucks inside with some space to spare. There was a sliver-grey rug that covered the entire floor of the room, the room was generally empty with nothing more than that inside.

I closed the door behind me and looked around the entire room. To the right and left of the room were two more doors, not knowing where they led to, I walked to the door on the right first. In there was full-fledged kitchen with a pantry and whatnot. There was nothing in the pantry and fridge though.

As for the door to the left there was a bathroom, wardrobe and more but as before nothing much to it. Walking back to the main room, I sat on the bed to the left of the door and spoke, "Thins Is a nice place, empty as hell though but where is my roommate?"

Remembering what Jethro said about our watches, I looked towards the stands. On one of them was a black wrist band and a black card with sliver engravings on it. Noticing that there was only one set of these I guessed that Nobe already came here as for where he is now, I don't know.

The wristband was a bit big to be called a wrist band, it's width a bit more than normal and it really is big. As I put it on, it reduced its size to fit my wrist, it wasn't too tight nor to lose just enough for it to be lightly squeezing my wrist. After moving my wrist a few times, the wristband then turned on.

On the holographic screen projected I could see my basic profile. There were other tabs such as [forum], [Rankings], [Map] and [Announcements]. All are practically self-explanatory but since our rankings haven't been decided yet, those show up as none and the same goes for our sub-courses which are just other courses the school offers.

Sub-courses include things like cooking, smithing, enchanting and more but since I'm new I'm not sure of some courses like cooking since it may be a club instead of a sub-course. The forum though was already filled with messages from students, some asking questions which were then answered by the few teachers that were present while the rest were just making Idle chatter. The 'Map' tab was just what it was, a map of the school and all the facilities present, like shops restaurants, an archery range and training facilities, it was there to make traversing this huge school simpler.

The Announcements tab though had nothing as of now. After looking at the forum for some time I picked up the black card on the stand and examined it. It was a literal black card with a silver engraving of the number 15 on its center at the front of the card, as for the back it had the engravements of all the elemental symbols in bubbles scattered randomly and at the center was the elemental symbol of space which was an iris, every engravement was silver in color.

I actually liked the style of the card, nodding in satisfaction the card disappeared from my hand as I put it in my inventory. Looking around the dull room I sighed and sat down on the floor as I leaned on the bed to the left. Suddenly the door opened and he whom I assumed was Nobe entered.

He had a basic build and was slightly shorter than an average 15-year-old, which I assumed his age was. Just like me, unkept black hair but his was better than mine and shorter. He had a defined physic, not too much fat and not too much muscle, a pretty average appearance, though I'm not, saying I'm better in any way I'm quite average myself.

Closing the door behind him, he looked at me and I looked at him. He was carrying a big bag which I could see through held food. Putting the bag by the door he looked at me and I looked at him. It was weird just looking at each other, I stood up and continued to look at him.

"I never knew that the one responsible for the test would be my roommate." After a while Nobe opened his mouth, and truthfully, I expected anyone who met me to mention that to my face, after all everyone saw and should know by now.

"Anyway, I'm Nobe, if you're wondering about my second name, I can't tell you that." so two people don't have second names, I inwardly laughed at the coincidence. Looking at the Nobe I couldn't tell his element, but I could tell that he really isn't good at using it by his aura. It was disoriented frankly looked sick, it was also weak and not as heavy as Emily's or imposing as that second year.

"I don't think I need to introduce myself since you watched the test. And for your second name, you aren't obligated to mention that anyway and neither am I." Nobe seemed like he didn't seem to care and that was good in my opinion, but I still continued "Although I said that I would still like ask for your element."

He looked at me for some time then proceeded to pick up his bag. I thought he wouldn't tell me, so I gave up but as was about to change the topic he said in a clear voice "Time." And then walked to the door on the right.

I stood there blank for a moment to comprehend what he just said. I mentioned before that space users barely attend Ignatius and their reason as to why, but time users are a different case, time users have never attended Ignatius at all ever since its founding, why? I don't know cause I'm not one.

I also mentioned that space was the youngest element, time is the second youngest but due to the element itself no one except time users know if that's really true and that's because those guys can just ever so casually change the flow of time to match what they want.

To me as I am now, the most difficult elemtals to fight against without killing them are, blood, time, space, darkness, mist, and light users but in some cases their skill shall matter an example of these are space, darkness, mist, and light users.

As for blood ant time users, regardless of their skill just like space their attacks are detrimental especially time users. Waking up from my contemplation was Nobe as he shouted from the kitchen, "Hey Mono! Want some noodles? Their beef flavored." With a nervous smile I shouted back "Yeah, sure! Put a lot of chili though."

I'll begin to fear him once I know his strength and besides, I can finally witness the time element.

Sorry for taking long, i'll be increasing the amount of chapters coming out soon.

And can anyone tell me if this is trash or not and what needs to be improved? please?
