Lumina was astonished by the armor that Ravenna created from her power. This was not a mere armor but also acted as a weapon.
It provided Ravenna the ability to withstand both magical and physical attacks. The four additional arms acted just like her own, able to perform the same witchcraft as her physical ones.
Ravenna understood the limitations of her power - the need to touch to activate her spells. So, she designed the arms on the armor to extend like serpents and become invisible when she wanted to hide her power. The entire armor followed her will.
"Excellent, hmm... hm... I did not expect you would think that far," Lumina said, her voice filled with a tone of surprise and approval.
Ravenna smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. "What do you think of me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "I am not the same Ravenna you met a thousand years ago."
Lumina chuckled, a warm, amused sound. "I see that now," she said, nodding in agreement.
"Let's name it, Ravenna," Lumina suggested, her tone thoughtful.
Ravenna tapped her chin, her eyes narrowing as she pondered. "Hmm, you are right," she said, her voice distant as she thought deeply. She paced a few steps, her fingers tracing the intricate patterns on her new armor.
After a moment of contemplation, her face lit up with realization. "Armour of Serpent Asura," she said decisively, her eyes gleaming with pride.
"The name symbolizes the armor's dual nature - its ability to shield me from harm and its hidden, snake like arms that can strike unexpectedly. Like an asura with four arms, it has the power to obscure and reveal, protect and attack, all under my control."
"Ha, ha," Lumina laughed as she heard the name. "What a dumbfound name," she said, "Armour of Serpent Asura? Are you a two-year-old child?"
Ravenna's cheeks puffed up with air in annoyance, and she crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes narrowing.
She didn't like Lumina's mocking tone one bit. "I like this name," she declared firmly. "And it should be this. I'm not going to argue about it."
Lumina's laughter softened, and her light flickered as if smiling. "Alright, alright, you win," she said, her tone warm. "It's your armor, and you have the right to name it whatever you want."
Ravenna relaxed slightly but kept her arms crossed, still a bit miffed. She turned her gaze back to the armor, her expression softening as she looked at it.
The armor seemed to glow faintly in response, as if acknowledging its new name.
Lumina floated gently above her, its light shimmering with amusement and understanding. "You know," she said gently, "naming something gives it power. Serpent Asura suits it well. It's a name that embodies both its strength and its unique abilities."
Ravenna's cheeks returned to their normal color as she uncrossed her arms. She reached out to touch the armor again, feeling a sense of pride welling up inside her. "Thank you, Lumina," she said quietly. "This armor will help me. And its name, Serpent Asura, will remind me of its purpose."
Lumina's light glowed warmly. "Remember, Ravenna, this armor is not just a piece of equipment. It's a part of you, just like your magic. Treat it with respect, and it will serve you well."
Ravenna nodded, feeling the weight of Lumina's words. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, feeling a sense of readiness settle over her.
"Don't you want to test its power?" Lumina asked, its light flickering with curiosity.
"Ah!" Ravenna exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise. She hadn't even considered that yet.
As the first creation of her power, she understood the importance of testing it as well, to understand how it would work. She took a deep breath and nodded, her determination clear in her eyes.
"It's essential to test your creation before battle," Lumina advised, floating closer to Ravenna. "This way, you can understand how it behaves, how it responds to your commands, and how it can best protect you or aid you in combat."
Ravenna nodded again, this time with more conviction. She reached out to the armor, feeling the smooth surface under her fingers.
As her hands followed the curves of the armor, she marveled of her own creation and craftsmanship.
The armour was cool and sleek, almost like a polished stone, yet it felt incredibly light. Her fingers traced the intricate patterns that adorned the chest piece, the delicate designs shimmering slightly under her touch.
She ran her hands over the shoulders, tracing the slight bumps and curves that gave the armor its tough yet bendy shape.
The patterns seemed to tell a story, each line and swirl adding to the armor's mysterious elegance. As she explored the armor with her hands, she felt a connection growing stronger, as if the armor was responding to her touch.
With each movement of her fingers, the armor flowed with a golden light, pulsing gently as if it had a life of its own.
She gently touched the golden crown on her head, adjusting it until it sat just right. As her fingers touched the cool metal, it seemed to awaken, casting a soft, golden glow that bathed her in its radiant light.
The crown shimmered like a halo, illuminating her platinum-white hair with a brilliance that made it gleam like molten silver in the sunlight.
It was as if the crown itself whispered the inheritance story of first queen, each flicker of light a tribute to the battles waged by the first queen against the world, her power and majesty woven into its very essence of crown.
"You're right, Lumina," she said, her voice filled with determination. "Practice is crucial. I need to develop muscle memory and learn how to use it effectively."
