Escape Plan

    It has been hours since the disciples of the dark king leave, I tried to help Declan, but it seems my power had been repressed by the dark cells, we are in, it seems he put an additional spell into it, I feel so hungry, so I tried preparing a meal for me and Declan, but I can't summon my magic. They only left a little light at the entrance of the cave, that is why the area is so gloomy.

    I concentrated, calling my power through meditation, after how many hours, I started to feel that I am floating, when I opened my eyes, I am indeed in midair, and the whole place illuminated again, I can now see Declan has a hard time being tied with the dark rope.

    I can feel the fluttering of my colorful wings, then I moved to Declan's side right away, I get rid of the dark ropes that bound his whole body immediately and the cloth on his mouth by using my magic, I can feel the current of my power within my whole body, then I started healing the bruises on his whole body.

"Thanks, Malia this rope is really something, it made me lose all my energy and power, it will subdue one's power. King Trelos became really powerful, he should be stopped before he can conquer Erthesia." Declan said in a frustrated manner.

"Yes! But before we can do that, I think we need to get away from here first." I said to him facing the entrance of the cell.

     "Yeah, you are right, but since your magic has returned, I heard fairy Spektra has culinary ability, maybe you can try giving me some samples Princess, to be honest, I am really starving, this cave is absorbing all our energy, so it is better if we eat first." He said looking at me smiling shyly, he looks so cute like a little boy asking for candy.

     "Well, I don't know anything about my Spektra magic yet, but I think you can help me because you love history, so you have knowledge about my abilities right?"

      "Well, since you are the first Spektra ever born, what was written in history is, you are powerful, but based on the colors of your wings, and all the combination of colors, I think you have all the abilities of fairies' power combined. Your ability as a healer has been tested already, you healed me twice so far, then I am sure you have the seamstress ability too, you can create your own dress." Prince Declan said, and he sat on the stone floor while leaning his back on the iron railings.

     "You can grow any crops in the land without a problem, you can build your own house, and so on." He said feeling so tired.

    "So how am I going to prepare the food?" I asked him.

    "Well, I think all you need to do is summon your power and dictate it what you want." He said sounding unsure.

    I closed my eyes, and I think of a table for two and two dining chairs with enough delicious food on the table with wine, it feels like I am talking to my power, I can feel the surging of my whole energy from my entire body, then I heard clattering of spoon and fork on the plate.

    When I opened my eyes Declan is already sitting on the chair, and he already started putting dishes on his plate. I smiled widely, I should have done something like this during my romantic dates with Flynn, but I know I can't do something like this because he doesn't know the truth about me.

    "Very impressive Princess, I was only hoping for a platter of food, I never expected you to make me eat my dinner like we are in a fancy restaurant, well done Malia, you are really amazing, I think we should eat now while the disciples of the dark king are not yet around, and of course while the food is still hot." Declan said smiling broadly at me. He poured wine into the wine glass.

"Thank you so much for this treat Malia, next time I will take you to Kentro, and we will go shopping and eat some delicious food." He said excited.

    "Do you know why I am captured now? Because we went to Kentro after our examination, together with Hale, Nick and Freda. They brought me there so that I can see the beauty of Erthesia's Capital, but unfortunately during our lunch at one of the finest restaurants of Kentro, that guy their leader was there eating at the restaurant." I said to him.

"Really, then what happened?" Declan asked me.

"Actually, he almost captured me, if not for Nick and Hale, you should not be here with me, Declan if I only let him catch me that time, and so that my friends will not be in danger anymore." I said feeling sad.

    "Hey! Don't say that Malia, do you think we don't care about you? We are willing to risk our lives just for you Malia, and don't ever talk like that again." He said solemnly.

    "Sorry, now that they have found me, I am aware that they will never rest until I will be in the dark realm, I think it is a good thing, it is the only way I can save my parents." I said looking directly at Declan's eyes.

   "Yes! Princess, but we don't know what they are going to do with you, so let us finish our food, and start taking down this railings so that we can get out of here." He said looking more energetic now that he had eaten dinner.

By using my magic I take away everything, from our eyesight to keep the place from anything that might raise suspicion from the dark forces.

"By the way, how does all the magic works Prince Declan? I mean, how did all the fairies used their powers?" Just thinking about it made me so muddled.

    "Well, there should be always a balance of nature, for example, fairies who has ability to grow plants must use her power every day, not the whole day, but each fairy has designated time to do their works in order to provide all the food in fairy land." He paused looking at me, I just wait for him to continue talking.

"It applies to all fairies who have different types of abilities. To make it short you can't have that food on our table a while ago, if fairies with agriculture's ability stop doing their work. But you my dear, since you have all the power it doesn't matter to you." He said casually, but I am still confused.

    "You can grow plants Malia, you can create your own dress, you can cook, so even if there is no fairy left you can still live meaning you can survive alone, unlike me even though I am powerful enough there are still powers I don't have. I can simply summon simple food, even though I have the magic to summon bread, if the fairies who have pastries ability are not doing their job, I can't have the bread in my hand no matter how powerful is my magic." Declan explained profoundly.

   "So everyone must do their job continuously, since everybody is using magic. That is why your ancestors have been the ruler of Erthesia because only your bloodline has the multiple color of the wings, the Ischyros are the most powerful fairies." He said.

    "Your great-grandfather can grow millions of trees, crops, flowers and any plants a day without losing his energy, that is why during his reigned fairies never starve. Everything we need is from nature, that is why the Goddess of Erthesia is guarding the whole magical forest, because the magical forest provides the fairies most of their needs, now that your father has gone. It was believed that the original Goddess gave your great-grandfather that power, because of his good deeds."

    "Wow! You can be a good historian Declan, you almost know everything." I said admiring his knowledge about magic.

   "Thanks Malia, I told you before, most princes spend their time training on the ground practicing combat skills and enhancing their power, but me, I spend more time in books, as much I want to tell you everything we need to plan for our escape here." He said smiling at me.

    "I think we need to break free from this cell first, or we can use the simplest way, let us try to make a portal?" He asked me.

    "Yes! Why we didn't think about the portal? We could have gone by now." I said excitedly, then I used all my energy creating a portal, I don't have any idea, how to make gateway yet. I stumble to the floor due to the intense power I used, but the floor or wall remained the same.

    Declan tried making a portal too, but to no avail, I don't have a choice, but once more I tried my best to destroy the railings, but this time in didn't break. We fell to the ground at the same time. We lost so much energy just trying to get away from our cell. The dark energy continued to blanket the whole place that made us more drained, and to lose more of our magic.

   Out of the blue I was thinking about my friends in the forest. "Serpentina? Can you hear me?" I tried calling my friend through my mind, she didn't answer.

   "Serpentina! Roz! Ezeki! Can you help me guys?" I tried calling again, this time I called the three of them.

   "Malia! Are you okay?" Serpentina asked me, and I am so happy just hearing her voice.

    "Yes! I am, we need to get out of here, I need your help. I don't know how to use my power." I asked her.

"Malia you can't make a portal from there, the cave has been covered with dark aura, only the dark forces can go through a portal over there, you need your whole power to get out of that cave, but I warn you, a lot of poisonous beasts are living out there." She said with sadness in her voice.

"They used to be our comrades, but the Dark King used his dark magic on them, they are his followers now. You have to fight them using your Spektra power. Use the power of your mind Malia, it is the strongest of all your abilities. You can tame anyone. I am sorry Princess we can't come there and help you, but I might send someone to help you." She spoke again and her voice is so full of worries.

    "Don't worry about me Serpentina! I know we can get out of here. Thank you so much for your help. I will follow the advice you told me, and I will contact you as soon as we get out from here. Bye Serpentina and thank you so much." I told her and leave her mind at once.

    I followed Serpentina's advice, first I used my mind power to clear the whole cave from the dark energy, and I am so glad that all the dark aura disappeared right away, then I used my whole physical strength, together with the help of Declan we were able to shatter the railings, in swift movement we glided together going to the cell occupied, by the other prisoner.

     This time we bend the railings so that we can pass through, we get inside his cell, and I healed him first because he can't stand up, then I asked him to come with us to the entrance of the cave.

    "Thank you, so much for helping me Princess and Prince Hale." The woman said, I thought she was a man from a distance because she was wearing a black robe too.

"Who are you?" I asked her.

"I am Analiza, the Seer of Erthesia." She said, and I was shocked, she is an important figure of Erthesia Land.

"I am so sorry Princess, they captured me five months ago, I had been in the Palace for a long time, but my niece has been used by the Dark King, that is why I was captured." Now all the bruises and wounds on her face and body are healed, I can see her perfect beauty. She looked so young and beautiful. I know she is more than a hundred years old.

"It is okay, what is important now is we can leave this place." I said, smiling at her, and the three of us take flight going to the entrance of the cave.
