Silver King Sword Scorpion!

When Haoxin got back to his house, he stared at the palm sized jade box in his hands with a frown. While staring at the box, Haoxin couldn't help but remember Grandpa Vick's words when the old man gave him this thing.

"Years ago your father handed me this jade box and told me to either bury it or burn it. At that time I asked him 'Why don't you do it yourself and why ask me to do it?' He replied 'Because I don't have the right to do it myself.' After hearing his reply and seeing his expression I immediately knew that there was definitely something important in this box. When I asked him what was in the box, he simply replied that it once belonged to his mother and walked away."

"For my late father to want to either burn or bury this box, really makes me curious as to what's inside." Thought the brown haired boy as he continued to stare at the small jade box.

When Haoxin was about to open the small box, his book spirit within his spiritual sea suddenly reacted as his Enhanced Intuition immediately told him that he will definitely not like what was inside this box.

Sensing what his Enhanced Intuition was telling him, Haoxin quickly stopped himself from opening the small box as he showed a forced smile and thought: "Well since it's something I wont like, might as well not open it..... I'm not really in the mood for something unpleasant right now."

As Haoxin placed the small jade box into his Storage Ring Essence Tool, he was completely unaware that the contents of that small box would signify something that brought him a huge headache in the future.

Haoxin: "By the way Old Diamond could you tell me now about the Spirit Beast I'm supposed to be hunting next?"

Old Diamond: "Hmm.... Yes I believe it is time we started preparing for that shouldn't we..... very well then... The next spirit beast you will be hunting is the Silver King Sword Scorpion."

Haoxin: "So a scorpion huh?"

Old Diamond: "That's right... it is classified as an extremely rare but deadly Spirit Beast. One of the things that make it so deadly is the end of it's tail that's shaped like the blade of a silver sword."

Haoxin: "I'm guessing that's why it's named Silver King Sword Scorpion?"

Old Diamond: "Yes in fact that sword blade shaped tail end is the main reason I've chosen this spirit beast as your next target."

Hearing this Haoxin thought of something and as such couldn't help but say: "Old Diamond could it be that just like my Sea Terror Claws, that sword blade shaped tail end is also a....."

Old Diamond: "Indeed.... It is also an External Spirit Bone. Unlike most spirit beasts, the Silver King Sword Scorpion can only produce a spirit bone once it exceed's the 50,000 years cultivation age. What's more the spirit bone it possesses will always be the same type. An External Spirit Bone that takes the form of a silver sword. If it wasn't for the fact that it was an extremely rare spirit beast to encounter, I'm pretty sure that most of the spirit masters on the continent would've hunted all of the Silver Sword Scorpion species that exceeded 50,000 years for it's Spirit Bone and made it extinct long ago."

Hearing this Haoxin couldn't help but take a deep breath as he thought: "If I succeed in hunting this next Spirit Beast, doesn't that mean that I'll have.... three External Spirit Bones!"

Old Diamond: "Besides this the Silver King Sword Scorpion also possesses two powerful attributes. Metal and Poison. It uses it's metal attribute to form blades that are strong enough to cut through even the toughest of defenses. What's more the blades it creates possesses a powerful weakening effect, so if you get cut by them your body starts losing strength. The weakening effect lasts for a few minutes so it can be quite troublesome."

Haoxin: "I see then what about it's poison?"

Old Diamond: "It's poison is considered one of the most deadliest poisons on the continent. Thankfully though it can only release it from it's sword blade shaped tail end. It is capable of using the poison from it's tail in three ways. One is to release it as a poison fog that it spreads around it's surroundings."

"The second way it uses it's poison is by releasing it as an energy attack from it's tail end like a beam. The third way it uses it's poison is by injecting it into a surface like a wall or the ground, thus making making it decay and crumble."

By this point Haoxin thought: "This scorpion sounds really hard to deal with."

Old Diamond: "Finally the biggest issue you'll have fighting this spirit beast is it's exoskeleton... The durability of it's exoskeleton is not tied to it's cultivation age as such the physical defense of it's body will remain the same even after using the Beast Weakening Bomb on it."

Haoxin: "What?! Then how in god's name am I supposed to kill it?"

Old Diamond: "Well thankfully just like the Sea Terror Octopus, the Silver King Sword Scorpion also has a weak spot. However this weak spot can only be pierced by a certain object."

Haoxin: "What object?"

One Month Later...

At this moment Haoxin could be seen cutting through a large amount of overgrown leaves using the machete in his hands.

The small forest where Haoxin was at right now was a location that can be considered fairly far from Lake Coast Village.

In order to arrive at this location, Haoxin had to travel five hours on sea using his Sea Hovering Disc. However as somebody that liked traveling and exploring, Haoxin naturally enjoyed every minute of it.

"Thankfully before coming here, Grandpa Vick and the other villagers believed me when I said I'd go into closed door meditation for a week. This way none of them would react like last time." Thought the brown haired boy as he cut another several overgrown leaves.

As Haoxin continued to make his way deeper into the dense forest, Old Diamond suddenly said: "Young man quickly hide behind the large tree to your left!"

Hearing Old Diamond' urgent voice, Haoxin quickly did as he was told and hid behind the large tree to his left.

Whoosh...

Noticing that he was within the large tree's shadow, the brown haired boy immediately made a hand sign and silently muttered: "Shadow Blending Art."

At that moment Haoxin's body slowly became transparent until it completely disappered.

Shadow Blending Art.... One of the 7 techniques Haoxin had gained from the set of knowledge he awakened from when he was 3 years old.

This was basically a stealth technique that allows Haoxin to blend in with his surroundings like a chameleon and become invisible while he's within the shadows. While in this state, Haoxin's very presence also becomes mostly undetectable.

It was then that the brown haired boy heared rustling sounds a few meters away from the tree he was hiding behind.

When Haoxin turned towards that direction, he quickly saw a brown scorpion about the size of a dog walking around.

Old Diamond then said: "It is a ten years spirit beast the Soil Scorpion. Young man what you must do now is steathily follow it to it's lair without it noticing you. Deep within that lair is where we will find the Silver King Sword Scorpion."

"Wait so you mean you didn't know where it's lair was?" Asked Haoxin telephathically.

During this month thanks to the Omni Chaos Eyes' cultivation technique, Haoxin's mental strength had now grown strong enough to easily communicate with Old Diamond telephathically.

Old Diamond: "I only knew that the Silver King Sword Scorpion resided underground in this location. I had not been able to confirm the exact spot of it's lair's entrance."

Haoxin then sighed and telephathically said: "I'm guessing that lair has a lot of scorpions like this brown one too?"

Old Diamond: "Indeed.... However the Silver King Sword Scorpion's chamber within the lair should be covered with it's own poison fog as such so long as you can sneak into it's chamber, you should be able to fight it alone without the other scorpions getting in your way."

"Alright then let's see where their lair's entrance is located." Thought Haoxin as he proceeded to silently follow the brown scorpion while making sure he remained within the shadows of the trees.

At this moment Haoxin saw the brown scorpion suddenly stop in front of a large brown boulder.

The scorpion spirit beast then proceeded to push the large boulder to the side revealing a wide hole on the ground.

"That must be the entrance." Thought Haoxin.

Old Diamond: "I have an idea. Young man hurry and kill it!"

Whoosh... Puchi!

Hearing Old Diamond's words, Haoxin quickly rushed towards the Soil Scorpion using his Void Phasing Movement and stabbed it with his hand using Spirit Power Sharpening Art.

"Kiiiii!" Sounded the Ten Years Soil Scorpion as it died.

Old Diamond then said: "Quickly hide back in the shadows Young Man."

Whoosh...

As Haoxin hid back in the shadows of the trees using his Shadow Blending Art, he couldn't but ask: "So why'd you make me kill it?"

Old Diamond: "The smell of the dead Soil Scorpion's blood should be able to draw out the other Soil Scorpions within the lair. Once the other Soil Scorpions are drawn out, there should be much less of them guarding the lair's entrance."

"Which gives me a higher chance of sneaking in without being noticed right?" Telephathically replied Haoxin.

Old Diamond: "Indeed."

As Old Diamond had stated dozens of Soil Scorpions suddenly surged out of the wide hole on the ground like a swarm.

The moment Haoxin noticed that there wasn't anymore Soil Scorpions coming out of the hole, he quickly rushed in using his Void Phasing Movement and entered it.

When Haoxin entered the scorpion lair, he quickly used his Shadow Blending Art to quickly blend in with his surroundings and become invisible once again.

Upon taking a look around the area, Haoxin immediately noticed that there was barely any light within his surroundings.

Using his Omni Chaos Eyes, the brown haired boy immediately saw that there was a series of tunnels in front of him.

"Which way do I go?" Telephathically asked Haoxin.

Old Diamond: "I can sense a strong spiritual pressure from the second tunnel on your right. That is probably the direction of where the Silver King Sword Scorpion's chamber is located."

Hearing Old Diamond's words Haoxin swiftly but silently rushed towards the second tunnel on his right.

Thanks to Old Diamond's guidance as well as his Shadow Blending Art allowing him to avoid being noticed by the other scorpion type spirit beasts he encountered, Haoxin was able to arrive safely but silently outside a tunnel entrance that was releasing a large amount of purple fog.

Old Diamond: "This is undoubtedly the Silver King Sword Scorpion's poison fog. It's chamber should be within this tunnel."

Haoxin then stared at the poison fog being released from the tunnel entrance feeling a bit nervous and thought: "Hopefully the poison immunity bestowed to my body by my tree spirit really does work against this poison."

In this passed month Old Diamond had Haoxin test the limits of his poison immunity by making him drink several of the poisons from his ninth cave.

At that time Haoxin was quite worried testing poison like that, thankfully though Old Diamond had informed him that the antidote for each poison were also just placed behind the vials of poisons.

However the brown haired boy discovered that he didn't need the antidotes at all for his Poison Immunity was actually quite strong.

After seeing the effectiveness of Haoxin's poison immunity, Old Diamond stated that he would have no problems against the Silver King Sword Scorpion's poison.

Sensing the boy's nervousness, Old Diamond said: "There is no need to be so nervous young man. I can assure you that your body will not be affected at all by this poison fog. In fact you yourself have personally experienced just how powerful the Poison Immunity your Elemental Nemesis Tree has bestowed your body."

Hearing the old tortoise's words, Haoxin simply gave a nod as he clenched his fists and charged into the tunnel releasing a large amount of poison fog.

Upon entering the poison fog filled tunnel, Haoxin quickly blended in with the shadows once again and checked the current condition of his body to see if the poison fog had affected him in any way.

"My poison immunity seems to be working! I'm completely fine." Thought the brown haired boy.

Using his Omni Chaos Eyes, Haoxin was then able to quickly pinpoint that the source of the poison fog was an entrance about a dozen meters to his right.

"That is most likely the Silver King Sword Scorpion's chamber." Thought Haoxin.

Old Diamond: "Young man I suggest you plan your attack from here. Although your stealth technique's ability to hide your presence is quite descent, it might not be enough to allow you to stay undetected from the Silver King Sword Scorpion's perception."

Remembering what Old Diamond had told him a month ago, Haoxin couldn't help but telephathically ask: "Do I really have to kill it with only one attack?"

Indeed... a month ago Old Diamond had told Haoxin that the best way for him to kill the Silver King Sword Scorpion possessing an extremely durable exoskeleton, was to use a surprise attack and focus all of his strength in piercing through the spirit beast's weak spot.

Old Diamond: "I'm afraid this is the best way for you to kill the Silver King Sword Scorpion young man. With it's deadly abilities and extremely tough exoskeleton, attempting to win against it in a direct confrontation is just impossible for the current you even with the help of the Beast Weakening Bomb."

Hearing this Haoxin couldn't help but sigh as he thought: "Then I hope I don't mess this up. Otherwise it'd be a waste of a Beast Weakening Bomb."

Taking out a Beast Weakening Bomb from his Storage Ring, Haoxin immediately began thinking about his plan of attack.

Within the cave like chamber filled with poison fog, a large silver scorpion with a silver metal like exoskeleton and a pair of sharp scissor like silver pincers could be seen. The end part of it's tail did not look like a scorpion stinger at all. Instead it's appearance was that as Old Diamond had described it. It was shaped like a silver sword blade.

This was none other than the 77,000 years spirit beast Silver King Sword Scorpion.

At this moment the giant silver scorpion was actually slumbering. It had released an extra large amount of poison fog from it's sword blade shaped stinger today just to make sure that none of the other scorpions would dare disturb it.

"Kiii!" Suddenly... the giant silver scorpion sensed something as it quickly opened it's twelve eyes and turned towards the entrance of it's chamber.

Clang!

Without warning a small purple metal ball suddenly came out of the shadows by the chamber's entrance and made contact with one of the giant scorpion's scissor like pincers.

"Kii?!" The giant scorpion had not sensed any spirit power from the palm size purple metal at all as such it was completely caught off guard.

BOOM!

The Beast Weakening Bomb immediately exploded into bright purple energy that illuminated the entire chamber.

"Kiiiii?!!!" It was then that the Silver King Sword Scorpion began to panic as it started to feel it's cultivation decrease below 10,000 Years. It was now only a 9,000 Years Spirit Beast.

Shiiing!

With a flash of white light a boy with clear white hair and determined platinum colored eyes suddenly came out of the shadows and charged towards the weakened silver scorpion.

This was none other than Haoxin in his Diamond Terra Paragon Form.

Seeing the white haired human charging towards it, the silver scorpion instantly knew that this white haired human was the one responsible for what was happening to it.

"Kiiii!" Sounded the Silver King Sword Scorpion as it shot dozens of small silver blades from it's body towards Haoxin.

Upon seeing the dozens of small silver blades heading towards him, Haoxin thought: "Those must be the blades with the weakening effect!"

The transformed Haoxin then gritted his teeth as a gold spirit ring emanating aurora light rose from below him and flashed.

Haoxin: "First Ring Spirit Skill - Grand Terra Diamond Domain!"

Shiiing!

It was then that a white energy field suddenly covered both Haoxin and the Silver King Sword Scorpion.

"Kiii?!" At that moment the large silver scorpion suddenly felt that it's strength decreased even more as a strong gravitational force held down it's body and made it difficult for it to move.

Grand Terra Diamond Domain..... One of the five spirit skills bestowed to Haoxin by Old Diamond's Spirit Ring.

Must know a hundred thousand years spirit ring can bestow up to two spirit skills while as a million years spirit ring can bestow up to four spirit skills.

As for Old Diamond who was a 10,000,000 years spirit beast that had gone through dozens of tribulations, he earned the right to have a spirit ring and spirit bone that each could bestow up to 5 spirit skills.

Meaning that from only Old Diamond's spirit ring and spirit bone, Haoxin actually already had ten spirit skills that he could only use in his Diamond Terra Paragon Form.

Among these ten spirit skills, one of the strongest ones was Old Diamond's personal domain ability.... Grand Terra Diamond Domain.

The effects of this domain were....

- Weakens all attributes of Enemies by 20% while Strengthens all attributes of the User and his Allies by 30%.

- Suppresses enemies with Gravity while making the user and his allies feel Lighter.

- Strengthens Unbreakable Diamond Terra Tortoise Spirit Skills.

- Allows the user to summon and form objects made from unbreakable diamond. (These diamond objects would shatter and vanish once the domain is deactivated.)

- Negates Enemy's Water/Earth/Space Element Spirit Skills.

In truth with Haoxin's current spirit power, he was still quite incapable of properly using this domain. At most his spirit power could support it was merely a few seconds.

However since Old Diamond instructed him to kill the spirit beast with one attack, a few seconds should be more than enough. What's more this domain provided something that he really needed to kill the Silver King Sword Scorpion.

A month ago when Haoxin asked Old Diamond what could pierce through the Silver King Sword Scorpion's weak spot, the old tortoise simply answered him with one word.

Diamond!

Whoosh...Whooosh...Whoosh...

Thanks to the Grand Terra Diamond Domain enhancing his attributes by 30%, the speed of Haoxin's Void Phasing Movement had now allowed the transformed boy to easily dodge the Silver King Sword Scorpion's barrage of small silver blades.

After dodging the barrage of silver blades, Haoxin quickly stretched out his left hand to his side as he continued to charge at the Silver King Sword Scorpion.

Shiiing!

With a split second flash of white light a diamond spear suddenly appeared in Haoxin's left hand. The transformed boy was only able to form this diamond spear thanks to the Grand Terra Diamond Domain.

Indeed... one of the reasons Old Diamond chose the Silver King Sword Scorpion to be one of Haoxin's first spirit rings despite it's extremely tough body was because it was actually one of the spirit beasts whose weak spot could be easily pierced by his diamond.

As a 77,000 years spirit beast the Silver King Sword Scorpion naturally already possessed intelligence comparable to a human's.

As such the moment it had laid it's eyes on the diamond spear in Haoxin's left hand, it knew.... the white haired human had come prepared to kill him!

"Kiiii!!!" Sounded the large silver scorpion as it used all of it's remaining strength to resist the gravity suppression and dodge the transformed boy's oncoming attack.

However was Haoxin gonna let him achieve this?..... Of course not!

"No chance!" Shouted the transformed boy as the six Sea Terror Claws came out from his back and quickly grabbed the silver scorpion's scissor like pincers.

"Kiii!!!" With the domain's gravity suppression coupled with the Sea Terror Claws grabbing it's pincers, the Silver King Sword Scorpion knew it could no longer dodge.... as such it decided to fight!

Haoxin then jumped forward while thrusting the diamond spear in his hand towards the silver scorpion's head.

At that moment the transformed boy thought of Old Diamond's words: "The Silver King Sword Scorpion's weak spot is in-between it's twelve eyes."

When Haoxin jumped and thrusted his diamond spear forward, the Silver King Sword Scorpion also thrusted it's silver sword blade shaped stinger towards the transformed boy's face.

It was as if at that moment time had stopped.... Diamond Spear VS Silver Blade.... which one will pierce through their target first!

Haoxin thought: "I don't have enough spirit power to defend against this attack.... I'm gonna have to take a chance!"

Puchi! Puchi!

Blood of both the spirit beast and the transformed boy spilled throughout the chamber's ground.

drip...drip...drip...

Sound of dripping blood could be heared.

A large bloody cut could now be seen on Haoxin's right shoulder. Thanks to the domain's gravity suppression making the silver scorpion's movements slower coupled with the assistance of his Omni Chaos Eyes, Haoxin was able to tilt his head sideways to the left just in time to dodge the silver sword blade shaped stinger. However it had still managed to land a gruesome cut on his right shoulder.

As for the Silver King Sword Scorpion.... it's twelve eyes stared at Haoxin with absolute shock. A shiny diamond spear could be seen impaled deep in-between it's eyes.... it knew.... it had lost.

By this point Haoxin's spirit power could no longer maintain the Grand Terra Diamond Domain.

Shiiing!

With a flash of white light the domain completely disappeared as Haoxin's body transformed back to normal.

Shatter!

With the deactivation of the Grand Terra Diamond Domain, the diamond spear in-between the silver scorpion's eyes immediately shattered and disappeared.

At that moment the Silver King Sword Scorpion also drew it's last breath as a pitch black spirit ring emanating strong pressure rose from it's corpse. This was a 77,000 Years spirit ring!

Seeing that the Silver King Sword Scorpion was finally dead, Haoxin quickly gave a sigh of relief. He then tore a part of his shirt and wrapped it around the gruesome cut on his right shoulder.

Suddenly.....

Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...Kiii...

The sound of numerous Soil Scorpions could be heard coming towards the chamber.

Knowing that he had basically less than 1% of his spirit power left after using his Grand Terra Diamond Domain, Haoxin knew he was in no shape to fight.

Haoxin: "Old Diamond get me out of here!"

Shiiing!

With a flash of aurora light Haoxin along with the Silver King Sword Scorpion's corpse and Spirit Ring had completely vanished.

Old Diamond had transported them to his dimension.
