Bad Guy

Joe slowly opened his eyes that felt sore and heavy. After straightening his body until he sat leaning on the head of the bed, he looked around.

Various harsh curses, the man had said when he saw how chaotic the condition of his room was at the moment.

Slowly but surely, memories of last night's events swirled in his mind, forcing Joe to remember how inhumanly he had done that to Jasmine. He didn't think he could hit a girl.

Joe's chest became tight and hot instantly, he felt so guilty, he felt so bad now, such a cute girl had to accept the cruel treatment from him. For God's sake, Joe wanted to kill himself right now.

He shouldn't have been drinking, he shouldn't have come home drunk, he shouldn't have met Jasmine.

After cleaning himself, Joe came out to look for Jasmine's whereabouts. He knew she would hate him after this, he didn't mind because it was all his fault after all. He just wanted to see Jasmine's condition now.

After last night's incident, the girl might have been traumatized or something like that, and she had to take responsibility for it all.

"Joe,"

Joe turned and found Sam and Bara having breakfast at the dining table. Bara waved his hand at Joe, causing Joe to lift his legs heavily to approach them.

He sat next to Bara.

"Breakfast! You look a mess, Man!" said Bara still chewing the fried rice in her mouth.

Joe poured water into a glass and drank it all down.

"Joe calls Jasmine for breakfast, she hasn't eaten since last night!" Bara exclaimed casually.

'Fuck!' Joe cursed himself.

The girl had not eaten last night and he did such a cruel thing to her.

'Am I a devil or what? Where is the girl?' Joe was feeling frustrated now.

"Joe! Even daydreaming this child!" Bara gently nudged Joe's arm.

"Jasmine is not with me!"

"Ha? Then where is she?" shouted Bara.

"He's in my room!" said Sam nonchalantly.

Joe and Bara immediately turned to Sam. They stared straight at Sam, while Sam himself only glanced at Joe and then took a hard bite of the bread in his hand.

"You can't do this, Bro! This is still Joe's schedule, right? If you want to be with Jasmine, wait a few more days!" Bara protested.

"What the hell! I didn't do anything! In Joe's room, there was a cockroach and Jasmine was scared, so I told her to sleep in my room!" lie Sam.

Joe knows Sam is lying. If only Bara wasn't here, he might have beaten Joe by now. Joe could see the hate in Sam's eyes as he looked at him.

"Gosh, kid! Clean your room! What's the use of a housekeeper, you idiot!" annoyed Bara.

Joe no longer cared what Bara said because he immediately left the dining table and headed for Sam's room.

The girl was there, huddled under the covers with her eyes tightly closed.

Joe dragged his heavy steps towards the girl.

Joe knows, Jasmine doesn't sleep.

He sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the girl intently,

There is a little bruise on the temple of Jasmine's eye. Seeing that, forced Joe to remember how his hand was raised to hit Jasmine's innocent face. She must have gone mad.

"Jasmine," called Joe slowly.

Jasmine did not answer and just peeked from behind the thick eyelashes in her sad eyes.

"Sorry," Joe whispered.

Joe looked down in shame. He felt he was no longer a man because a man would not raise his hand to a woman. As for him?

Joe's body trembled, how surprised he was when a warm hand wrapped around him weakly.

"I'm fine Joe don't worry!" Jasmine exclaimed weakly.

How could it be? She should hate Joe, be angry, curse, or whatever. Why did she hug Joe? What is her heart made of?

"Jasmine?"

"I know you didn't do that on purpose. Sam told me you can't drink. I know you wouldn't do that if you weren't under the influence of alcohol. I'm not mad!"

Joe grabbed Jasmine's body, then pulled her into his arms.

"Sorry" Joe whispered once again.

Jasmine just gently patted Joe's back, giving a sense of comfort that instantly warmed the man's heart.

"Joe" whispered Jasmine.

"Yes?"

"Hungry!"

Joe couldn't help but laugh amusedly when Jasmine looked at him with teary eyes like a puppy begging for food. Seriously, no one would have thought that this girl was Sam's age. She's so adorable.

"Do not laugh!"

"Yeah, I won't laugh! What do you want to eat?"

"Super spicy instant noodles!"

"Hey! That's not healthy! Chef Yuni would be angry if she knew someone made instant noodles so early in the morning!"

"Just this once," said Jasmine.

Seeing Jasmine like this, makes Joe want to have it for himself. Jasmine is too sweet. It must be fun, always being with the girl without having to share.

"Okay, wait here!" Joe caressed the top of Jasmine's head and immediately left the room.

The dining table was empty, maybe the others had left.

Joe hastily took instant noodles from the top drawer and cooked them, he added two eggs, a few pieces of sausage, and a few vegetables. Bara said, Jasmine didn't eat last night, she must be very hungry by now.

"After hurting her, you want to take care of her hum?"

Joe glanced over and found Sam already leaning against the wall not far from him, staring at him in disbelief.

"Sam, you know I was drunk last night right?!"

"That's not an excuse, you bastard! You hurt Jasmine. Whether you realize it or not, what you did is unacceptable!"

"Sam!"

"I don't care if you treat other people like that, but this is Jasmine! You shouldn't treat her like that!"

Yes, Joe agrees, Sam is right, drunkenness can't be used as an excuse to hurt others. Moreover, this is Jasmine. However, Sam's gaze bothered Joe. His attention to Jasmine made Joe annoyed.

"Why? She's just a maid! Are you this angry just because of that cheap girl?" Joe fishing rod.

Sam rolled his eyes, his jaw clenched and his hands clenched into fists.

Joe said it was just to provoke Sam, to see if his guess was right or not.

As fast as lightning Sam approached him and threw his fist at Joe.

Brack!

Joe's back immediately hurt when it hit the small shelf behind him.

"If he's cheap, so are we! Dad, and we made her like this! So watch your mouth, you bastard!"

No more mistakes. Sam likes the girl. He wasn't the type to care about other people's opinions. He didn't even care at all about any women they used to wear. But why is it different with Jasmine? Why is he angry?

"Hey! You guys fought because of Jasmine? Seriously?" cynical Bara who for some time was standing in the doorway.

Joe stood up and wiped the blood that dripped from the corner of his lips.

"Bro, come on. Don't get carried away! Remember, she's just a maid! It's her duty to serve us. So don't glorify or despise her!" cried Bara annoyed.

Joe took a deep breath. Just right. Maybe they got too carried away.

"And by the way, your noodles are already cooked, it won't taste good if it's overcooked!"

Unlucky.

Joe immediately turned off the stove and poured the noodles into the bowl.

He left Bara and Sam in the kitchen, he immediately met Jasmine.

The girl's eyes immediately lit up when she saw Joe coming.

"Joe your lips?" shrieked Jasmine in surprise.

Jasmine immediately rushed to Joe and pointed at the corner of the man's injured lips.

"You were hit? Who dared to hit you? Did you retaliate?"

"Hmm, there was a robber that broke into the house earlier, we fought and now they're gone!"

"Serious?"

Joe just nodded slowly and walked past Jasmine, placing the bowl of noodles on the nightstand.

"Super spicy!" said Joe, pointing to the noodles he made.

Jasmine smiled then sat on a chair and pulled the noodles towards her. She scooped up some of her gravy and smiled broadly.

"Joe?"

"Isn't it delicious?"

"You don't add the seasoning. You only add the chili powder. It tastes bland!"

what the...

It's because of Sam.
