Ethan turned to Faith who had a complicated expression on her face. She seemed to want to tell him something but she was holding back.
"Is something wrong?" He asked.
"N-no….do you like her?" She asked.
"Yes." He answered straightforwardly.
Faith took a step backward almost losing her balance. She was dumbfounded. Did she hear that correctly? She did not expect that at all.
"W-why?" She asked again, curiously.
"Because I do. I guess when you like someone you just know because you feel some sort of connection with them. You are indescribably drawn to them and even if you deny it you can't help but admit that you always want to be near them." He responded with a smile.
"Really? Is that how it feels? What if you know you love a person and you are willing to do anything in your power to have them by your side? Would you do the same for her?" Faith paused. "What I mean is, if you like her will you do anything to get her?" She explained herself.
