Taking A Break

I told Syelia what happened and that I was taking a few weeks off of work. She agreed that I should stay home so that I don't make another fool of myself.

Syelia went off to work and I decided to clean the house now that it was just me here for the day. About an hour later I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door thinking it was my neighbor because they always come over to give us treats that they baked. Then who I saw made my stomach go into a knot.

"Connor!" I said slamming the door on his face

"Ryanne we need to talk!" Connor said

"Oh, sorry I am taking the next few weeks off for my vacation so I can't talk to you boss." I said hoping that he would go away

"Bu-"

"No, go away Mr.Williams!"

He walked away and I had felt bad for him but I just didn't want to deal with having to talk about what happened the other night.

ONE WEEK LATER

I have this feeling in my stomach in the morning. It hurts really bad and leads to vomiting. It has been happening every morning for the past week. Some of the things that I love to eat or drink have become sick to my stomach.

I am hoping this stomach bug goes away before I go back to work because I don't want to be vomiting in front of Connor.

Syelia can't wait till I go back to work with her because she doesn't like to go to work by herself and she wants me to stop cleaning. That's literally what I have been doing the past week.

TWO WEEKS LATER

My stomach bug hasn't gone away yet but I need to go back to work. I can't miss more days otherwise I will lose my job.

I am really nervous to go back to work and see Connor because of our little night.

I reached his house and my stomach had so much pain in it.

"Good Luck" Syelia said chuckling a little bit

"Haha very funny Syelia!!" I said sarcastically

We walked in the house and Syelia went to the kitchen like she did in her normal for work. I walked around to the living room and yelled "Mr.Williams?!"

I didn't see him so I walked into the dinning room and he wasn't there either. I got a flash of my first day working here and he was in his room. "Mr.Williams" I yelled again going up the stairs but I still didn't hear him call back. I walked all the way down the hall to his room and knocked on the door. Nobody answered so I just walked in and he was sleeping.

He looks so cute when he is sleeping. I smile and look at him walking up to him. He had bags under his eyes, it looks like he hasn't slept in weeks.

I sat on the side of his bed and moved the hair that was in his face. He looks so peaceful. I didn't want to disturb him so I just got my laptop out and sat at his desk to do my work.

"Ryanne?" I heard someone say

I immediately got scared and said "Whoever you are please don't kill me I am innocent!!"

I heard a manly chuckle behind me and looked back real fast. A relief came over when I saw that it was Connor but my stomach started hurting and I felt like I was going to vomit. I looked around for a trash can but didn't find one.

Connor:"Are you okay you look pale!"

Ryanne:"Yes, but show me to your bathroom!"

He grabbed my arm and I felt goosebumps all up my spine but he ran me to the bathroom. I puked into the toilet, my eyes filled with tears because it hurt so bad.

Connor:"Are you okay?"

Ryanne:" I am okay, this has been happening for the past three weeks!"

Connor:"Do you need the day off-"

Ryanne:"NO, sorry I don't want to miss more days so I don't lose my job!"

I really wasn't looking forward to losing my job since it is really hard to find a good paying job.

Connor:" I am the boss Ryanne, you won't lose your job so just go home and rest!"

Ryanne:" Okay, but I already did some work when you were sleeping."

Connor:" Why didn't you wake me up?"

Ryanne:" You were sleeping so cute and peacefully I didn't want to wake you plus you look like you haven't slept in weeks."

"You think I am cute?" Connor asked with a smirk

"You know what! I am not gonna lie so yes I do think you are cute but have you slept?" I said blushing

Connor:"Hey, why don't you sleep here so you don't have to make all that trouble going home."

"Okay but I am still doing some work and you should sleep also because you really do look exhausted." I said blushing really hard

I sat in the chair and closed my eyes but suddenly somebody lifted me up bridal style and it was Connor. He laid me on the bed and layed down next to me and closed his eyes. So I fell asleep but I woke up to a sudden feeling of vomit coming so I ran to the bathroom and vomited in the toilet. Connor came running in and he held my hair back.

"What time is it!" I asked

"4:06"

I ran downstairs to find Syelia so we could go home. I ran to the kitchen to find her but she wasn't there and I asked the servants where she is and they said she is in the car waiting for me.

Ryanne:"Bye Connor"

Connor:"Wait!!"

Connor said but I was already out of the door so I didn't miss my ride. I told Syelia that I was doing some extra work and lost the track of time. She said that it's okay and that she didn't wait too long.

Syelia:"So how has your stomach been?"

Ryanne:"Terrible, I puked two times"

Syelia:"Maybe it's not a stomach bug"

Ryanne:"What!"

Syelia:"I am just thinking, you have been puking for the past three weeks, your foods not sounding good to you and making your stomach hurt. I think you are pregnant!"

"NOOO!!!" I said scared

"Only way to find out is to take a pregnancy test" she said

"FINE, only to make sure I am not"

I was personally scared to get the results. We wait patiently for two minutes. That was the longest two minutes ever; it felt like two hours.

"IT IS POSITIVE!!!" Syelia yelled happily

I passed out and when I woke up I was in a hospital and Syelia was talking to the doctor. She walked back in and said that I have been dehydrated and that I need to take a hospital pregnancy test to confirm I am pregnant.

Welp you guessed it, I was pregnant.
