Chapter 30 : The Daniels
*Matthew's POV*
I watched as Trinity's car drove off, wishing that I could go with her instead of where I was going. The breakfast that we had shared was actually much nicer than I had expected, and I wanted to continue with our conversations. But I was late and put the thought out of my head as I focused on getting to my next meeting.
As soon as the second company car pulled up to the restaurant, I jumped in and ordered instructions to the driver. I knew I should have driven today. I could have already been there by now.
And my dad didn't like to wait.
The car was stopped at a gate to the private driveway, and I told the driver which button to press. After a moment, we were buzzed in and he was off again. I looked out the window at the beautiful landscaping and the giant mansion looming in front of me.
