Chapter 28: Someone survived

the air was filled with silence, they all just stood processing the event that just took place.

" ahhhh!!!" a sudden cry was heard from the valley, disturbing everyone from their thoughts

" someone is still alive !" there was excitement in the speakers voice as if this was a ray of sunshine in a storm, a glimmer of hope that let everyone convince them self that maybe it was not all that hopeless,

i mean someone survived, surely i can survive too. this type of mentality was suddenly birthed among the remaining people.

but everyone just looked around at each other as if waiting for someone else to descent into the valley and risk their lives for a random stranger,

evelyn who was casually sat on her giant after recording from the momentary shock got annoyed at waiting, " max " she said briefly, on the trip here her and max had gotten to know each other a bit more and max had explained some of his abilities.

coming to know that the random butler she had picked up on a whim was actually person with rare space ability evelyn was more considerate of max and thought about him more than just a toy

after all any one with space ability was highly valued even if they were useless, big powers could just smash resources at them till they become useful.

warfare, travel, and many more things would be improved if anyone with a spacial ability was involved.

max knew exactly what to do at the mention of his name, he mobilized his Phanes energy and space cracked swallowing the man who was still alive from the valley and spitting him out onto the cliff where everyone stood.

" i knew it, i told them, hahah, i told them all but they told me to shut up, now look at them who's talking now, we are so fucked. we are fucked " the man who barely survived shouted as soon as he fell out of the void.

max recognized the miserable figure that was now half alive, it was zach

max had no clue how the youth had even survived, how is he still alive ? all this time his been shouting about how we are fucked but somehow managed to survive past all the attacks and ambushs and even now, out of every one he somehow luckily made it out barely alive still screaming we are fucked.

max did not know if this saying somehow had magical powers that allowed him to live, he swore to try shouting like zach the next time he faced death.

max was truly intrigued by zach´s ability to survive. should i lock him up and do experiments max thought to himself

" how did you survive " theo questioned

" i, i...i have no idea hahahahah,

absolutely no idea, but guess what i do know ?" he paused dramatically and everyone learned in to make sure they did not miss his words

" what " theo replied

" that....

we are so fucked !!!!! " then zach burst out laughing, theo clenched his hands, his eyes filled with great annoyance

max could tell he just wanted to burn zach on a stake and tear his skin from his bones.

theo managed to calm himself down and turned around as he walked off as he spoke

" set up the camps, let him recover and we can ask him later, we will need to wait for more groups to find their way here before we can proceed " with that he walked off and his followers closely behind him.

the rest of the people spilt off and started to set up tents.

the following morning,

all the tents were set up and on the cliff and a bit less than 200 people were gathered in an open field as theo spoke,

"we don't know how long the other groups are going to take before they arrive here, we need to remain vigilant at all times, group 053 has experience with this where they been relaxed only to be ambushed. i hope we learn from their experience and act with cation even if many of you have already sent up defenses and traps nothing can be 100 percent "

all the remaining people agreed, they had heard of what group 053 had experienced and how many of them were slaughtered.

( the groups have been assigned a number as there are going to be many groups going to join and come into the scene, numbers are helpful in distinguishing them apart.)

group 053 was the group that max came through the door with, as the door sends people inside it creates another door in a different random location where another group would be send and this happens again and again every few minutes.

this effectively splits the massive number of thousands into groups of 300 to explore in groups. to help distinguish the groups apart and clear confusions each group would be assigned a group

evelyn and theo´s group was group number 012

after some more talking everyone was allowed to do as they pleased however if they wanted to go explore the surrounding it was advised that they informed the group before leaving as not to cause unnecessary chaos if they suddenly left.

after max wanted to return to his tent an rest but before he even sat down he was called by evelyn.

going into her tent he was instantly amazed by her striking hot figure

she was dressed in a tight sexy strapless dress that hugged her curves, the dress was black and stuck to her skin

she had her back turned to him as she looked into the mirror

max's eyes wandered to her sexy ass
