But before he could react, strong hands snagged my arms and forced them behind my back.

“That’s enough. Just chill out, guy. Relax.”

“Mother fucker!” I shouted at the guy, and realized he also had his hands behind his back. A cop was handcuffing him. I felt metal on my wrists and realized what was happening like a bucket of ice poured on top of me.

“Wait, they totally started it!”

“We’ll get this all figured out back at the station.”

I turned and saw Kennedy on the phone and Levi watching, eyes wide. “Wait—Casey! Casey!” I called to him as I watched him being put in the back of a police car. A few seconds later, I was put in the back with him, once the police figured out who was likely to not fight with who.

The officer shoved my head down and pushed me into the car. I sat down and the door slammed shut.

It was silent as Casey and I looked at each other.

“I really fucked up this time, didn’t I, Nick?”

“I would say this is a wething, considering we’re in the car together.”
