The last year has been very productive, I have once again strengthened my occlumency and have begun on Legilimency by reading the surface thoughts of those visiting our house. I also started practicing my magic, and as it turns out, magic is really friggin hard.

Who woulda thunk it.

Anyway, even though I haven't managed to produce anything that could be considered a spell, I have felt magic moving from my core to my hands. So I will continue doing that exercise to strengthen my magic.

I think I am going to go with Mama, If I don't I'm pretty sure my mom will be sad, and I don't want to do that to her. So I crawl into the kitchen where my parents are talking and start doing some baby babbling. My mom, of course, picks me up and starts cooing, calling me cute.

And then it happens, my first bout of accidental magic, produced out of immense love and joy. It happened without me even realizing it, but my favorite stuffed animal started floating, and then it rocketed toward me, coincidentally, my father happened to be in the way.

"What the fuck!" he screamed when it hit him

"Hehehe, Fuck"

Let me tell you, never anger a mother, because the death glare I saw in her eyes at that moment was the scariest thing I had seen in both of my lives.

"Jason" my mother spoke in an eerie calm, "what have I told about cursing while he is still a baby?"

"Not to do it," He says with growing shame and quiet

"Exactly," She says with an edge to her voice, "And what have you just done?"

"...curse..." he whispers, barely audible

"Yes," my mother says with her head tilted at a creepy angle, "Now, you are going to be sleeping on the couch until I allow you to come back to bed. Okay?"

"Yes dear," My father says, thoroughly whipped

Now, normally I don't take well to orders, but I am currently about to shit my pants, so I am going to make the correct choice and say "Mama" with as big a smile of joy and love as I can Muster

Women are friggin scary man

It's exactly at this moment that I realize, 'Holy shit that was accidental magic'. I quickly rush through all the defenses in my mind and go back to the moment I performed the levitation of my stuffed animal and went through the memory again, instead of focusing on the emotions, however, I focused inward, on what exactly my magic was doing when I performed the 'spell'.

It was exhilarating, the rush of energy from my core out into the world, and that magic energy latching onto the stuffed animal was amazing to feel, and now that I knew how to move my magic outside of my body, it should be much easier to perform magic at will.

When I was back to my conscious mind, I was suddenly hit with a wave of drowsiness, it felt like I had just done 7 straight hours of homework with no break, and I was near dead on my feet. So I immediately fell asleep in my mother's arms.
